Ghislaine Maxwell is secretly married — and refusing to reveal her husband’s name, prosecutors said this week at the accused madam’s bail hearing.

In addition to failing to describe in any way the absence of proposed co-signers of a bond, the defendant also makes no mention whatsoever about the financial circumstances or assets of her spouse whose identity she declined to provide to Pretrial Services,” Assistant US Attorney Alison Moe told Manhattan federal Judge Alison Nathan during a video conference.

Apparently she bought the NH house with a fake ID too.

Prosecutors convinced the judge that Maxwell poses an “extreme” flight risk if let out on bail, claiming she used a fake identity to purchase her sprawling New Hampshire hideout, lied about her overall wealth and spent the last year in hiding from authorities.

She’s also purposely hiding her wealth, shocker! I knew she wasn’t broke, as was reported.

The bombshell detail was divulged Tuesday as Manhattan prosecutors accused her of purposely hiding the extent of her wealth.

I have said before ... She was much more than Epstein's "madam". I'm convinced that she was his handler, the mover and shaker behind the operation.

This woman is dark and evil. She was bred and groomed in that. She was probably used and abused herself as a youngster. That does not justify or excuse anything she did, but this is what she is. This is what she was purposed to be.

It'll be interesting to see if she survives any length of time without being eliminated, if she sings to save her skin, and how much she reveals. Frankly, I'm not expecting much from her. If she's been groomed all of her life as what she seems (to me) to be, a response to this eventuality was likely programmed into her from the beginning.

Probably a little too soft....

Maxwell asked to be bailed to a ‘luxury Manhattan hotel’ ahead of her trial next year but Judge Nathan said the US Government’s case against her ‘appears strong’...

Maxwell’s legal team had offered a £4 million bail package for her to be freed from jail after she was arrested at her New Hampshire bolthole earlier this month.

As part of the package, her lawyers said she would be confined to a luxury hotel in the New York area, surrender all her travel documents and be subject to GPS monitoring.
