I maybe lost you there. Would you really like to debate? Nobody ever takes me up on it, and I love theology.

I asked for God to make people believe, good health for others, His wrath, my wellbeing and the defeat of my enemies even if that means me forgiving them and food and life.

Not my will but His but also everything my heart desires.

Sorry Peeps but ego is also very important, self esteem is important, not suggesting narcissism here. I would say I think YOU represent that list you nominated, maybe just on here when discussing with me only but I see you representing that list here, now, just read your own posts and think "why did I comment in this thread that is mostly irrelevant to me"

I am not interested in your opinion, thanks

Again Kev, slowly for you
You are not really eating Jesus flesh or drinking His blood, ITS PRETEND, ok

No christians I have ever met eat flesh and drink blood, ok, calm down, you are over reacting, its pretend, its not really a transmogrification, its like Calvin and Hobbs, cartoon, not really Flesh and Blood

In Australia we have lollie teeth, not real, they look like teeth, Milk bottles, little lollies, not real milk bottles, Red Skins, they are not real American Indians, its just pretend, ok. Chicos, wagon Wheels, just relax, its wine and bread

Sheesh, you have some issues, see a counsellor

One of the reasons I am here...

So what does it for you to pretend to eat the flesh and drink the blood of a spiritual leader?

Hmm, its a bit concerning, get help.

Jesus spoke it, He didnt mean it literally, calm down.

Please dont read the bible, ever...because if you think the way you do, you will be in all sorts of trouble

I dont pretend its flesh and blood kev, i am not stupid.

I am not getting all worked up about this, makes a good break from some of the more pressing issues going on.

So it is that last supper speech that has you following in a pretend ritual? How does it feel participating in such a ritual? Does it work and make you feel closer to Christ? Or are you doing because everyone else does?

my own personal crappy opinion on it all is that god did not invent religion to feed his need of recognition. Man made religion to control other men with fear. so no, God does not need religion. God would not be a shallow, vain entity in need of constant recognition?

Classic. What do you need the devil for?

To prove god isnt the villain of the story.

I think if you read the bible, we humans do the villain thing fine on our own

It's funny because "created in God's image".

When you give money to a mendicant
and the mendicant says "God bless you"
and you say "Thank you"
which god has blessed you?

I'm sure many theologians have wrestled with this question.

It's funny because "fruit of knowledge of good and evil" but go on thinking you are Lord of the whole.

God is not irrelevant to me.
And if you were honestly searching for God, in a spiritual way, you'd know that the ego only creates problems.

Right. The fruit. That's where it came from, not the creator of literally everything. My mistake.

It’s as about as pretend as the ANZAC day March or people walking the Kokoda
Imagine someone from the US, they don’t know, don’t really care, has no value

Yet, you, do you presume to know
Does the Kokoda make people more closer to war, to ANZAC, dead people.

It’s not a ritual Kwak, it’s about relationship, you havnt a clue and are placing your own personal views on it.

There is a verse in the bible, “don’t cast your pearls before swine”, it’s not literal either

What
What are you on about, who cares?
Do I give money away to be blessed?
Your head is not mine, I don’t think like you, I don’t care like you, I don’t care about blessings
A blessing to me is not a good thing, a blessing to me is a tragedy.
You havnt a clue, atheist parrot
