Yes, sometimes God makes bad things happen for good reasons. What exactly is wrong with that?

Remember what I said about narcissism and being a little psychotic?

Good question. I've come to believe that this existence may be a punishment or correction and that "good" is subjective.

While the concept of hell is built around assuming you are a new creation and failed, it's more likely our souls are very old and progress to where we were given human existence and that it's somehow a privilege and a punishment at the same time.

After reading everything I could find on my own religion, Christianity. I found myself reading more about other religions , histories and cultures. If you've done this, and broke free of the fear of exploring other beliefs, you understand what that means as you discover new things. For me, It ended up strengthening my belief in Christ, while diminishing my interest in religion and much of the official scripture interpretation.

Recently, I came across several NDE (Near Death Experience) accounts, and there seems to be a very large number of people who claim there is a "life review" when you die and that trophies don't matter, it's all about relationships and the butterfly effect that you had on the world. Obviously, these people had an option to return that most don't and they were told that they were here for specific experiences, goals and relationships. Many didn't want to return to their bodies initially as they said they felt the universe open up to them and a sense of overwhelming love surrounding them, but the compulsion to "finish" outweighed that temptation.

So if our lives have some specific purpose and we're fortunate, we achieve what's necessary and progress, if not, maybe we're sent back in for another round. In the meantime, souls could possibly be waiting in limbo for another body with just the right circumstances to become available so we can complete whatever and return to God, which is where we started.

Because the vast majority of people on earth are suffering, I wonder if we were somehow assholes in the spirit world and this is how we're humbled. Our senses and knowledge are deadened, our world shrinks, and we're put into scenarios that frankly serve more than ourselves.

Personally, I believe there have been enlightened beings that have walked this earth, but Jesus was the true savior. I can't prove it, I just know it's true.

Most suffer from things that never happen!!

The mind likes to make problems out of nothing.....just to have something to solve.

What's wrong with right now?

Sense of grandiose importance, the constant need for validation, degrading their peers and community, willing to hurt or manipulate people to get what they want, always ready to blame someone else when something goes wrong, always jumping on a chance to make themselves look as amazing as possible. Very selfish and controlling.

God does not know what is good.....
God is good because God is true.

God is what is actually occuring.

No because God is not a thing.

Please re read the post you replied to.

God is just ......just what actually is.

God isn't something.........God is all that is.

God is dreaming......and apparent life is but a dream.
