King is better i suppose but not ideal.
The lesser of two evil.

So there's no escaping the lesser of two evils.

Don't matter who it is.

If you take nothing else from this post (and you won't).

Watch how people avoid answering.
It's fascinating.

What’s crystal clear is no one would want either of them.

I choose X, gun rights and a racial program built on pride.

I agree.
From what I have read about Malcolm X, he wasn't going to be someone else's tool. Hence why he didn't last too long.
I think that King was more like a deal-cutter.

I think it's a Tosh/Marley situation.

I respect no compromise.

But in action the Marley's and the King's probably do get more results.

Mlk for sure.

But there is something we can do that would devastate the elites that are pulling the strings with the right and left parties.

Everyone agree in secret to vote for whatever third party runs. Or we all write in the same name.

Imagine the mind # that would happen if trump and biden lost!
In that scenario the people will have won.

And it's the only way we can win. So long as we are a slave to the two evils we are losers.

OK, I'll ask

Bush or Gore
Bush or Kerry
Clinton or Dole
Clinton or Bush
Clinton or Trump
Bush or Dukakis
Reagan or Mondale
Reagan or Carter
Carter or Ford
NIxon or Humphry
NIxon or McGovern
Nixon or Kennedy
Johnson or Goldwater.

Take your choice. That's basically the last fifty years of real candidates to discuss from your narrow narrow field you asked about.

Gore
Bush
Clinton
Trump if it's hillary clinton if it's bill
Bush
Reagan
reagan
Carter

I don't know enough about the politics of the last few. Except kennady. I would probably choose him.
I don't know anything about nixion except his crimes and that he opened relations with china. I know nothing about the others.

Imagine it's Martin Luther King v Malcolm X for President.

I'm pretty sure both of these guys are dead.

It would be KingX one hell of a music group.

Agreed. Plus dUg is a vocal conservative.

You sure about that? I’ve been following the band, plus Dug’s side projects since the early 90’s and have not heard a single thing from him regarding politics at all. Alas, stranger things have happened than a gay, black man being a conservative.

I've watched several videos of him (gay??? I had no idea...) where he makes comments about songs he has written for his stuff and his work with Roxanne and their conservative views.

Since we're stuck with poor choices, let's imagine we had people with actual principles to choose from.

I'm not sure of my answer or the reasoning and that's why I'm asking.

But...

Imagine it's Martin Luther King v Malcolm X for President.

Where does your vote go?

I'd struggle to vote for either one, honestly. X's association with Islam would cold stop me from voting for him... as I personally do not believe Islam is conducive to American values. I have never understood the fawning over King, honestly. His personal life wasn't righteous and his words were often not his own. He strikes me as having a lot of similarities to Barack Obama, all style, no real substance.

So both are gonna be a no from me.

“I don’t think the Republican Party is a party full of the almighty God, nor is the Democratic Party. They both have weaknesses. And I’m not inextricably bound to either party.”
