Here we go again! Seems Mr Biden is out to a commanding lead over the current president. Polls are showing that although Mr Biden has not had a press conference in over 3 months and cannot put together a coherent sentence that the people of America had spoken. He will win in November.

Really????

This is a TIME article from mid October where Hillary was up by 14% also....less than 2 weeks before the general election

Link

Hillary Clinton has widened her lead over Donald Trump, polling 14 percentage points ahead nationally, according to a new Associated Press-GfK poll, which comes 12 days before the presidential election.

Conducted after the final presidential debate, the poll finds the Democratic nominee leads Trump among likely voters 51% to 37%, a significant lead over the Republican candidate.

According to the poll, Clinton has support of 90% of likely Democratic voters, as well as support from 15% of moderate Republicans. Of the Republicans surveyed, 79% said they would vote for Trump.

Now if you look at current polling for Biden it is the same as 2016. Here is a latest from just today...

L ink

Mr. Biden is currently ahead of Mr. Trump by 14 percentage points, garnering 50 percent of the vote compared with 36 percent for Mr. Trump. That is among the most dismal showings of Mr. Trump’s presidency, and a sign that he is the clear underdog right now in his fight for a second term.

The narrative is in. The media as well as RINO's from the past are all using the COVID-19 and race relations as the way to try to destroy the president. They even downplay the Hispanic and Black vote that is definitely, if you actually gauge America, is coming over to Trump.

But among a striking cross-section of voters, the distaste for Mr. Trump has deepened as his administration failed to stop a deadly disease that crippled the economy and then as he responded to a wave of racial-justice protests with angry bluster and militaristic threats. The dominant picture that emerges from the poll is of a country ready to reject a president whom a strong majority of voters regard as failing the greatest tests confronting his administration.

Mr. Biden leads Mr. Trump by enormous margins with black and Hispanic voters, and women and young people appear on track to choose Mr. Biden by an even wider margin than they favored Hillary Clinton over Mr. Trump in 2016. But the former vice president has also drawn even with Mr. Trump among male voters, whites and people in middle age and older — groups that have typically been the backbones of Republican electoral success, including Mr. Trump’s in 2016.

Arlene Myles, 75, of Denver, said she had been a Republican for nearly six decades before switching her registration to independent earlier this year during Mr. Trump’s impeachment trial. Ms. Myles said that when Mr. Trump was first elected, she had resolved to “give him a chance,” but had since concluded that he and his party were irredeemable.

“I was one of those people who stuck by Nixon until he was waving goodbye,” Ms. Myles said. “I thought I was a good Republican and thought they had my values, but they have gone down the tubes these last few years.”

Ms. Myles said she planned to vote for Mr. Biden, expressing only one misgiving: “I wish he was younger,” she said.

Most stark may be Mr. Biden’s towering advantage among white women with college degrees, who support him over Mr. Trump by 39 percentage points. In 2016, exit polls found that group preferred Mrs. Clinton to Mr. Trump by just 7 percentage points. The poll also found that Mr. Biden has narrowed Mr. Trump’s advantage with less-educated white voters.

The exodus of white voters from the G.O.P. has been especially pronounced among younger voters, an ominous trend for a party that was already heavily reliant on older Americans.

Also, if you watch TV Biden is not running....Obama is. How long till we see Biden up 20%????

What a joke....Wash, Rinse, Repeat....

Poles are ideology driven not reality driven. Such as who would you vote for someone who has fought for you for 40 years or a racist nazi?

A great Omen!

But it also speaks poorly of Americans who would choose someone with DEMENTIA, over a sitting President who is racking up a record number of accomplishments.

That's awesome for Creepy Uncle Joe.......but........

Unless the poll was taking into account where the respondents reside, in correlation with the electoral college numbers of individual states, it is meaningless.

It makes no difference if every single person in NY, NJ, most of the NE, and the entire west coast votes for Biden.

There are a handful of swing states that make the choice. The rest are, in reality, irrelevant.

I don't trust polls so much either.

However, comparing Biden's lead in the polls to Clinton's is short sighted. Four years ago we knew much less about Trump. Four years ago the nation saw him as a game show host with a spotted history of business success. Four years ago the Democrats were short sighted about the groundswell of conservative distaste for all things liberal and ran with their planned general, Clinton.

That is much different now. We all have had four years of viewing Trump close up. Not only Democrats and other liberals but Republicans and other conservatives as well. It is now much clearer that his claims of being such a good business success have not been transferable to government leadership. We have had four years of watching him more closely than any president in history.

Other than his ardent cheerleaders, the rest of us can see what a loose minded doddering clown he really is.
The question really is this simple. Do enough conservatives in those swing state have the capability to recognize that it would be better to go with a doddering guy called Biden than the doddering imbecile called Trump.

And oh yeah, at this point four years ago, Trump's image and trajectory was heading up, while now, it's faltering almost to a terminal degree and it's still over four months to the election. Who knows how many more blows to his image his campaign can take.

Sure, around ATS he is still the king, but elsewhere in the conservative world, who knows what rumblings of discontent could be brewing. I guess we will have to wait and see.

I understand your point but see it as the opposite. In 2016 many did not know Trump but to say he has not led this country is short-sighted. TPTB as strong as they are could not even get him impeached.

You are going to see more people turn out for Trump in 2020 then in 2016. Like my OP, the media will not show it but I have talked to people who voted HIllary in 2016 who are not voting for Biden. Mostly minorities.

Remember. Hillary was way up before the election and they cancelled those Fireworks even before the election to celebrate.

Sorry, we will have another 4 years of Trump.

Polls or no polls Quote - Trump from Tulsa, Oklahoma, I told them you test more you get more positive test results so I said SLOW DOWN testing .
Me and my room mate just went a got tested 2 days back In tucson Az 500 k city ONE count them ONE testing site way way out in the boonies at a closed down CVS .
No walk through at all anyware And going on line I can FIND no other testing sites at all ( but constant advertisements cvs Walgreens saying walk up drive through ..

Going past them Signs in the windows NO TESTING here . Stats are getting no more bail outs So are making getting tested as hard as possible to keep people from seeing just how bad its getting .

even with all this in the last 2 weeks AZ went from 10 k to 40 and that is WITH the state depressing the testing .
Only good news is any 2 weeks will will hit max cases and start the LONG LONG down ward trend .

Every one wants to point to dems . Then do there best to give Trump passes with him saying things like Tulsa Well AZ is repub CA is dem pick your poison .

I could go through the list and ever state and every big city over 200 k has the same problems Other then states Like Georgia which still show less and if you believe thous numbers i know some good swamp land in Florida for sale .
The virus does not care at all how much you hate or love trump but if the 80 % of us would aleast ware a mask in public buildings we can reduce the spread .

It is working in S Korea and Japan people are still getting sick but even after no lock down the numbers of new stay lower . Biden is not a solution But he will alest listen to his OWN ADVISERS .

Tell me has any one who Trump can fire been on teh job they got more then 2 months ?
The man cant even keep a staff and if they are all SO bad his hiring is WORSE after all HE HIRED the same people he fires two weeks later after all the background checks and hoops a employ goes through .

That alone is enough to show HIS management skills suck and if he was a Burger-king manager he would have been fired ages agaio .
A manager who cant keep employs is not because of bad employ's but bad management
EVERY person Trump has fired or Finely got smart and quite en.wikipedia.org...

Mata, you seem to have the assurity that Clintonians had prior to the November election. We know that in their case it was an over estamation springing from their ''positive thinking''. Could not your estimation of the 2020 outcome be the same?

Me, as I stated am so sure who will win. That was the point of my earlier reply. That point was i'ts too early to really say. To many things could happen between now and then.

Another ''for isnstance''. Biden though considered very liberal to many here is by liberal standards not all that liberal. He is seen by many as a moderate, one who can appeal to moderates of all political stripes. So who he chooses for his VP is paramount.

My thoughts is that he has promised a woman vp candidate. So will he pick a woman who will appeal to the liberal voters? I think not. That is not necessary. Those voters will come out against Trump if this female choice were Pipi Longstockings. So his choice will not necessarily be a more liberal candidate.

More to that choice, I don't think that that choice will be his alone. Surely he is listening to all of his advisors who are keeping a close eye on the demographics. Counting the polls in those swing states. That will be the key. Will he and his advosors be smart enough to choose a candidate that will have appeal to the moderate voters in those swing states? That should be the key to the election.

So, I can see the vp candidate going to a woman, and a woman of color who has dignified moderate credentials. A woman who has been more active on conservative media than liberal media. If he chooses Tulsi Gabbard, the liberal voters will not run away, they will still vote. If he chooses Tulsi Gabbard, in her uniform, with her service record she alone could help him swing those dates away from Trump.

We will have to watch closely. Gabbard could put the nail in Trump's coffin.

Gabbard has always been that dark horse but she is very very centrist to me. Not appealing to those leftists.

Warren supporters are needed and that is who he should choose. Anyone else will not bring the votes.

The Bernie Supporters? Might sit this one out. What the surprise is going to be is young voters. They are a lot more conservative and against this world craziness/socialism push than most think.

The debates will surely show what will happen in November. This is going to be some great watching....

Biden is not a solution But he will alest listen to his OWN ADVISERS .

No, he will be directed. I do not want that. Trumps issue is that outside of his small circle there is still not too many people he can trust who have been in DC more than 8-10 years and it is hard to find those people with the correct connections.

He will be directed Like every president get directed you think any ONE man can do it all alone ?
and just another excuse for TRUMP who cant even hire a employ HIM SELF and have them stay for more then 2 months .

A President SHOULD listen to His advisers If Trump had he would have avoided the impeachment all toghetr and may have gotton work done in the time wasted .

His not guilty does not change a thing if eh had WENT through channels to begin with we could have save 3 months of time . The fool refuses to listen to His own advisers HE HIM SELF hired . Never mind the ones he cant fire .
He HIRED them not congress not the senate Trump . He fired His own campaign manager when the guys says your rating are 30 % .

The man is so stupid instead of dealing with the problems causing the low numbers he fires a guy and hires one who will just say YOUR great no matter what the reality is He is destroying his own chance at a election his chances have gotten so bad Trump went from saying I dont need any debates to wanting 6 three more then normal .

I will say one thing there is someone who Trump is listening to someone not in teh public eye he gets on tv now talking about the next bail out like a man on a death sentience if he does not go along with it .

Some one has this dogs leash and has pulled the choke collar just look at Him talking about country issues now all of a sudden he is all sweet and cream and not a tweet in site .

Trump went from the looting starts the shooting stars GUNHO to I have a police reform bill while looking like he had soap in his mouth .
He went from Slow down testing to looking like a old old man who does not even have teh energy to walk 100 feet to a plane . He is coming apart .

Strangely Biden is looking slightly better maybe he just had a flue or some such thing he health seams to be improving but he is still slow at his age it is no surprise though .

During Hillary Trump election Hillary looked so bad many thought she was headed for the er 2 years later her health looks much better .
People can get sick and they can get well this may be the case with Biden .

Hard to believe any poll, having said that, months ago I figured Trump had it in the bag..today, anybodies guess. The core group of supporters here does not represent the whole, lot of discontent.. IMHO

Why did you get tested? Are you feeling sick? Been in large "protests" lately? Are you positive? How do you know you won't be positive in the next couple days?

LOL lots of question No I have NOT been in any protest I am 54 and act my age .
My room mate works as a care giver and a employ were he works 2 acutely tested positive .
I was aware of this on the 15 th - 5 or 6 days later my room mate him self started getting sick 3 days after that we both went and got tested . Turns out my room mate just got a head cold is already over it we both tested negative .
its 9 days later now neither of us is sick noting not even a slight fever ( i never got sick at all ) But tested any way seeing he was I went along .

as of this mint Nothing no fevers no cough no sinus problems nothing . He is stuck waiting for the Written test results to show proof he is well before going back to work next week .

I also have that paper work to get here but it is evident I am clean and at 9 days in very very unlikely that will change .
But I dont have any thing scheduled until the first anyway Giving me the entire 14 days . so even with my - results and my room mate being fine today no systems of any thing a bug that lasted 3 days more or less and a total of 14 days even with a - for us both I do believe we are safe to resume our life .
