I like it when Trump's base says things like , 'Trump has been in the public eye for 5 decades, dude hasn’t changed'.

It shows just how brainwashed the sheeple really are ...

It's clear that Trump is not a Republican , not even close to being 'conservative' and the only chance he stood of winning an election [which has been his life long dream] was to switch to the party of radical cult followers , party line voters , and 'yes' men

Trump's a cog in the same machine that ATS used to be against

I guess, what confuses me is those who say we're for Trump because we're pro-government.

Yet those who make that claim are pro socialism which is pro massive government!

You said it's clear that Trump is not a Republican? I wondered why people called him a racist.

Trump actually ran some time ago, but was never considered.

He went back to the drawing board and BOOM, the mans POTUS.

I'm glad he didn't want to be the party of the KKK and slavery.

I guess you quickly forgot how Trump ran through the candidates in the Republican field that year, and up until the convention, they were completely against him representing their party.

Here is a list to help your memory

these aren't "new" footage. they didn't matter then, why would they matter now?

cult - like following, or populism is exactly what unfolded these last 15 years.

Trump began to drift from business and into entertainment in the late 90s.
he built a brand which would subsequently propel him to presidency.

Rome craved entertainment and great characterful leaders. and then there was nowhere else to go..

I called this

Says those that run around calling themselves 'liberal' rioting, looting, burning, tearing down statues, getting people fired for what they believe to be true, cancelling tv shows, movies, books and whatever else hurts their poor little feelz.

Yeah that's right the liberal created the free speech movement, and in the year 2020 they've KILLED it completely.

Why would anyone want to conserve the current United States of COMMUNISOITY?

Trump is shameless, that's why he is loved.
Very flawed, with bumbling good intentions.
An anti hero that infuriates hypocrites.
One of the few politicians that seems not to kiss ass all the time.

Many people like to piss off the self righteous..

Elections have certainly become popularity contests.
That started with Clinton playing his sax on arsenio.
Obama and trump greatly benefited from celebrity.

Hey listen, people can be dumb as a brick. At one point 'Laverne and Shirley' was the top show on television. So yea, people ARE stupid enough to get sucked-in by 'TV Personality'. No one actually believed he was as corrupt, blind, and utterly stupid as he turned out to be. Mistakes happen.

The one thing obvious in this thread is you don’t understand Trump supporters. I literally voted for him based on his idea for reducing tax rates to bring back jobs. Guess what, he actually got it through Congress too. But you go ahead and vote Biden. The guy that’s been a politician for 40 years and has no accomplishments. He’s a far worse speaker than Trump and is far more inappropriate aka touching and groping little kids and stuff. Maybe you’re into that stuff though I dunno, but if your gonna call us a cult for voting on self preservation then get ready for the insults to come back.

Hey listen.

Reagan was an actor, and like TRUMP he used to be a 'democrat'.

But why let a thing like American history get in the way of demagoguery.

If the upcoming presidential election has, or will be, truly, “a popularity contest” (and I do not disagree on this point), how do you think Trump will react/respond to the results of his recent rally in Tulsa, OK?

Certainly he will claim it to have been a huge success - in public.

While at the same time, the majority of the MSM is labeling the performance a disappointing “flop”; Which is exactly what Trump supporters would expect of the MSM.

I just wonder how Trump, and his more “seasoned” campaign advisors, are reading the results themselves.

Are they truly satisfied that Saturday’s turnout represents an assured win in November?

Or, do the stats indicate that the campaign, that Trump himself, has lost enough of his popularity to be a potential loser in the election?

And if that is the case, what are they prepared to do about it?

For example, might Trump spur the Senate to push forward a much more aggressive pandemic financial aid package, maybe even including some form of UBI, to “win back” (or “buy back”) votes from the Democrats by “stealing their thunder”?

Impressive. I've never considered the Anti Hero narrative, mainly becuase I was thinking narratively, but this story, as it spans outward, is certainly a tale, huh?

trumps is all about hype, he's the best at everything, knows more than the military or scientist, and has the mistaken notion that all his supporters are stupid and will believe his BS. A lot of them do but now after 4 years it's boring as the campaign kick off Tulsa fiasco proved.
