My first choice is probably fairly oobvious here. But the spin on the choice is a little different.

Mine would be Bill Clinton’s father. For two reasons without Bill Clinton we would’ve never heard of Hillary Clinton. That’s a twofer .

I put the finger on Joseph Stalin’s farther. Going by memory I say the casualties caused by each was around 50 million counting noncombatants and the 23 million Russians that died on both of their shoulders.

But Joseph Stalin’s message carried on for a lot longer into the 20th century. I couldn’t offer a guess as to deaths attributed do the communist cause. (Except Mao of course at around 100 million)Stalin’s message nearly tore the 20th century apart. I can’t pick Karl Marks although he founded socialism/communism. The Soviet union was what put communism on steroids.

I personally would eliminate the group that decided that money was a good thing. I have no problems with money but I truly would like to have lived in a world where money wasn't a thing.

I don't think I would bother for a couple reasons.

For one... The fear of the butterfly effect.

And the other being that history has provided us with a hell of a lot of nasty bastard and by removing one we would probably just end up with one that is worse.

I got rid of Julius Caesar and Jesus. Managed it quite well. My buddy John T let me take a spin with Marty in his wheels. I think things turned out pretty well as a result.

In all seriousness, I would have to ponder, if you eliminate evil people, would not other evil people rise up? As an example. Had there not been a Hitler, Europe would have remained broken, Stalin would have taken Eastern Europe still. That said, Japan wouldn't have aligned with them, and as a result, When Japan attack Hawaii, Russia would have Marched into most of South East Asia while Japan fought the USA full throttle. At the end, Communism would have been stronger in all of Asia, and a Stronger Warsaw Pact would have made further inroads into Africa, this would have resulted in very different power dynamics with a more militaristic USA and UK that probably had few allies Europe, and the eventual Communist take over of the United Nations.

So in reality, Taking out Hitler would have resulted in a more Communist world and vice Versa, taking out Stalin would have resulted in a more Fascist one. Taking out Moa could have very well happened which would have resulted in a democratic China, which would have resulted in an even more powerful nation now, since they would have had trade with the USA since 40's vs 70's. 30 more years to build basically.

I don't know. I think when evil rises, good rises to balance it out, so the reality is life is a pendulum, and without evil, you can't have good.

I would say Hitler but as my college history teacher stated, it took lots of Hitlers to follow Hitler. Another one would have emerged. The hate for Jews was pressure cooker level. In my lifetime it would be Obama mainly because everything he ran on he did none of it. His main thing the ACA was a total ruse on the public. No savings and no keeping your doctor. Still infuriated by it today. My cost went up and now I have crap. Any human being that lies about my healthcare on that level is my worst enemy.

Can't do that because it would make no difference. How about the deep state elite great grandfather that would wipe out the entire world conflict even with China. If a good ruler could have developed before the anger was stoked. One that might not have signed the nonaggression -pact which might’ve led to World War II on a much smaller scale . No free reign into Poland, no purge of capable Russian officers and face it how much worse could Stalin get ?
