Some examples of ANTIFA triangles

Some examples of Antifa logos using red triangles. In all fairness it looks like at least one is European.

It appears that Antifa has actually used the inverted triangle as a symbol or logo, this article headline should actually read "Facebook removes Trump ads with symbol used by Antifa and other radical socialist and communist groups". The Nazi's used many different colored triangles and symbols to identify prisoners, I doubt Trump was even thinking about that or even knew about that, I hadn't heard of Nazi concentration camp badges until now. Apparently the Nazi's used a pink inverted triangle to identify homosexuals and that pink triangle is now a symbol adopted by the LGBTQ community. Just because a symbol was once used a certain way doesn't mean it still has only that meaning.

One might ask just how stupid could the Trump campaign committee be to use a symbol tied to Nazi concentration camps.

One might also ask how stupid does a person need to be to believe this is some sort of secret Nazi message, just days after Trump sat down to have extended discussions on how to heal race relations. The fact is that this symbol is now used to represent a lot of radical socialist and communist groups. The fact so many people believe it's a secret message just goes to show how many people are deep into TDS territory and willing to assign any possible evil they can to Trump. If it was intended to be a Nazi symbol it wouldn't be so obviously displayed, because the ad will be removed, but it was still removed anyway because Facebook are grasping at straws.

You're in favor then of the government telling Facebook how to run their business?

I am in favor of online platforms being held accountable
for publishing false information. When Farcebook makes a
false claim they should have zero protection.
Which is what Farcebook is doing now and everyday.

It's not a false claim when they decide material doesn't meet their standards for content presentation.

They establish the rules, they interpret the rules, because the venue is their property.

Using the government to enforce one's opinions is anti-American and unconstitutional whoever does it.

So the red triangle is on ANTIFA stuff? Wait ...

They're anti-fascist. How could they be walking around with a giant Nazi symbol on one of their banners for the Trump campaign to even end up with Nazi symolism in its ad?

They don't.

Read the OP.

Oh, so the red triangle on the ANTIFA banner isn't Nazi when *they* do it, but it is when Trump's campaign shows it to us?

Perhaps Facebook will also take down advertisements for "ANTIFA" membership.

Oh, wait ....

It really doesn't matter (and I believe you know it) what "people think" ... Facebook made a decision about refusing the money of an advertiser based on their standards.

That's their right as a private American company. Trump has plenty of places to use Nazi symbolism to advertise his campaign.

Why is that so hard to believe?

He has called Nazis "good people" before. Remember Charlottesville, VA's "Unite the Right" rally?

No he didn’t. You’re lying.

Maybe try watching that particular speech without cNn’s headlines

He most definitely did not call nazis “very fine people”

And you know that

In fact, he did say that there are "good people on both sides" of the conflict in Charlottesville.

And there were Nazis carryiing Nazi flags down the street on one of the "sides."

Look it up if you need a quote.

Deny ignorance, not reality.

Exactly.

And he didn’t call the nazis fine people at all. You’re a liar.

Yes, he did.

There were "two sides" according to the President. One of those "sides" had Nazis on it.

Did he say there were good people on both sides or not?

Yes he did. There WERE good people on both sides

Did he say the Nazis were the good people? Or did he mean the ones on that side who were NOT nazis?

You may be thick, but that doesn’t mean everyone else is

I agree.

That's not what I or President Trump said though.

Who said that?

Perhaps you can read Mr. Trump's mind.

I only know what he said.

I actually think this is genius.
I suspect there are some other groups out there using red-triangles for their 'cause'.

Seems like they'll need to change it up a but, really hoping the trump campaign starts using a blue pentagon.

I agree, and it doesn't matter because they''ll have new ads without the symbol, it makes no difference in the end, Trump will still defeat Biden.

Uhhh...the tail logo on my father's B-17 was a red triangle, as were several thousand aircraft in the 8th Army Air Force during WWII.

I'm pretty sure red triangles aren't identified with the Nazi's...especially considering they were bombing the snot out of them!
