You don't have to be Christ to not want someone to feel pain. You simply have to care.

Well, that explains a lot. I simply don't.

People get offended if I wear purple pants.

So I can't wear purple pants any more because the color purple offends them?

They weren't offended, they thought Grimmace from McDonald's had come to life and it frightened the hell out of them.

Purple Thunder!

LOL

Purple Thunder is a legendary gentleman because, as we know, the Purple Lightning comes before the Purple Thunder.

I think next, they will want to deface Mount Rushmore since it depicts the faces of Washington, Lincoln and Thomas Jefferson.

They'll treat them like the Taliban did the giant Buddhas.

That's a load of crap.

So you think you have to be Christ to care? Now that is some crap.

People get offended if I wear purple pants.

No they don't. That's hypothetical crap.

So I can't wear purple pants any more because the color purple offends them?

I addressed that crap with my above retort.

Being offended does not give you super powers to overturn or infringe on anyone's rights.

Your right. Offensive people are the best people to have around because.........loading.....loading......loading.....

Get over yourself already.

Nothing to get over. You believe that freedom of expression takes precedent over what others think. What do think about the freedom of expression of the rioters? Because although you believe that you should be able to offend anyone you want there are always consequences somewhere down the line.

Yes.

What do think about the freedom of expression of the rioters?

There is nothing in the Constitution that allows anyone to infringe upon the rights of others.

So I have to be quiet or you'll hurt me.

The optics of the statue are not that good. I can see why.

I hate to do the

I can't help but feel, it's not our business:

The offending statue has stood on Park Square for over 140 years and is a replica of the original in Washington DC, commissioned by donations from freed slaves.

It seemed important enough to some freed slaves, to give money towards it. Does everyone want it gone, or just the one's who we can hear currently?

I hate to do the :points up: "This." post, but..."This!"

Why isn’t there someone in power that will tell these assholes NO?
The Left is the new ISIS, they want to destroy anything to do with history.
Get the F over it.

The Left is the new ISIS, they want to destroy anything to do with history.

The historical comparisons between the left in the US and ISIS is almost a perfect match .
The only difference ?
The country.

Some Massachusetts facts:

In the Revolutionary war, black soldiers made up approximately four percent of the Patriots' numbers. Of the 9,000 black soldiers, 5,000 were combat dedicated troops
and many were in Boston.

In 1783 On July 8, slavery was effectively abolished in Massachusetts long before the civil war.

In the Civil War, Over 100,000 formerly enslaved people fought for the Union and over 500,000 fled their plantations for Union lines.

Massachusetts was a center for the abolition movement in the 19th century.

Boston citizens take our national heritage and the contributions of our black citizens past/present very seriously.

Taking down that particular statue will NEVER happen, and if it did, well Bostonians are very well known for making mayors and governors pay the price for pissing them off.

Sure there is. The Constitution actually tells you what you can and can't do. That is epitome of infringement. No one's grants you rights. It's up to you to what laws you allow yourself to live under as a coward. Our Government has turned the Constitution into a joke. You let them.

So I have to be quiet or you'll hurt me.

Don't be so timid, I come in peace.

No.

The Constitution tells the government what it can and cannot do.

Anything you do against the will of another individual is an infringement.

Hurt feelings don't count.

That's actually protected by the 1st Amendment in the Bill of Rights.

Well I guess it's a good thing that statues are not individuals huh?

Hurt feelings don't count.

Well don't let your feelings about the statues get hurt.

That's actually protected by the 1st Amendment in the Bill of Rights.

Which is why I said it.

So you admit to being a book-burner.

*shrugs*

Some people are just not for more freedoms.

I don't understand why, but in a free society, you can be against more freedoms.

So knock yourself out, sport!

Is that what I said? FFS son pay attention.

I know, they love the Government telling them what they can and can't do.

I don't understand why

Because some people think that Government law is more important than citizens.

So knock yourself out, sport!

kapernick told everyone, that kneeling is not a sign of disrespect to the flag.

so there is nothing wrong with this statue, based on kaps claims.

end of discussion.

if the nfl players can kneel, the statue can stand.
