OMG did you just Fu##ing encourage people to toilet paper hoard?

3 effing months later.....

The stupidity is overwhelming!

Sorry about your surgery though. At least you were able to get it. You wouldn’t have 1 month ago because of the Covid hoax over reaction.

I think we did a good enough job with not overwhelming the hospitals which I believe would've happened had we not done the initial quarantine/lockdown. I think we slowed the curve enough to now move on to plan b.

Hope it doesn't monkey up the November Porn convention in Vegas, I'm supposed to get a lifetime achievement award.

Your work with giraffes will not go unnoticed. I'm told you are a shoe in for the beast award as well. Keep up the good work sir.

Can't speak for all the red states but Arizona's hospitalizations are up. Not all states are created equal for a variety of reasons but I know a lot of arizonians were not taking it seriously.

I'm living far from home (east Texas coast)...I have yet to run into a shortage of toilet paper. Not even once.

The small town i temporarily located inside, has a flooding glut of toilet paper.

Where I am, you can count on fingers and toes the number of real cases.

Oh good grief! Not again. I seriously expect a lot of people to really push back on it this time. In order to make people take it seriously this time, they're going to have to literally create bodies in the streets.

Don't give them any ideas Kets. They will try their best to make them even worse.

Be interesting to see who gets caught in the second wave, and of course third and so on. Lots of protesters will curse and cry when they come down with it after disregarding the warnings against crowds and proximity to others. Did they expect they could cheat fate ? Are you still willing to go out and mingle as though no virus ever existed. Choices, all choices. Did your boasting and bravado betray you ?

Rioting, destroying, arson, looting....? Why me, why me...

Well consider yourself a winner. After a great time disobeying, paying no attention to sound advise and actually managing to infect your self, your brave, defiant self, you win. You showed everybody... And now for your prize, the Darwin award.

People aren't going to go on house arrest again, I never did in the first place. It will be interesting to see if the silent majority will take it lying down this next time.

Welp, hopefully, the severity remains the same, and the virus does not pull a Spanish, flu and mutate for the worst.

I am literally at the point it is a over reaction, but it is killing the elderly and the immune compromised at a pretty good tic. If we get it and wander around stores, restaurants, carefree, we are being irresponsible. That debate can go on for pages and pages but it’s the truth, and one of our weaknesses this disease is effecting.

It's hard to believe, but Democrats in the U.S. House believe we are now in the "wake" zone of Covid-19. The threat has passed.

Democrats on the House Intelligence Committee rolled out legislation Tuesday that would require the director of National Intelligence to produce a an estimate on the threat of global pandemic disease in the wake of COVID-19.

I can'y EVEN a second wave.

We're all dying to get out of wearing face mask's at work aside from the fact we were about the last factory to make them mandatory! We've already spent a goodly time breathing each other's air an no one came down with the virus.

Not sure if it's the second wave or just the late arrival of the first in the town i'm from. Cases spiked pretty hard a week ago. We were listed as in top ten hotspots in the nation last week at the county level. But so far around 800 total cases and 25ish deaths around 15 or so in past week. A nursing home and the local jail are the 2 clusters of dozens that I know about right now. I'm also aware that shortly before the spike the wad finally a mobile test site set up at the local Walmart. So getting talked up heavily as well. I just went back to work the week before last.

No word on how those infected travelled or protested in the weeks before. A LOT of people went to Florida memorial day weekend, and quite a few went to Atlanta to protest the weekend after that. It's doubtful that the two clusters I know about did either of this things but the people that work in the jail and the nursing home may have. The area has stayed largely open through the whole time.

I'm back on high alert for washing hands and hand sanitizer. I am wearing a mask places where it's hard to keep your distance. A coworker has a girlfriend who sometimes works the COVID ward at the hospital she started the day Sunday with 14 patients discharged 5 and finished the shift with 15. That's just one unit total hospitalizations in the county were 99 as of yesterday. This is in a county with about 100k people.

Don't think this area will lock back down though. Several restaurants didn't make it and you can tell some that are still open are hanging by a thread. Most churches are back open, and some never closed.

Truthfully for a lot of us....until you at least know somebody who knows somebody with the virus it's hard to take it all that seriously. Do any of you know somebody who knows somebody?
