Lots of people who didn't read the OP. No surprise there. It was rather long, and attention spans here are limited.

Spoken like a poor writer. You're rambling about an asinine concept.

Could you distill this idea into one paragraph for those of us with such poor attention spans?

Spoken like a true ignoramus. I could distill it into one sentence, but no one would understand the point of it. It's not even that long. No one is forcing you to comment on threads you haven't read. Why make a fool of yourself?

There is no black community. People with dark skin are not all part of some zombie/borg hive mind. They are just folks with every manner of varying ideas and beliefs.

#ing politics man.

Completely missed the point, but it looks like everyone did. Judging by the comments, at least half of them don't get it because they didn't read all of it. You're one of the smart ones here. If you read the whole thing and I didn't get my point across to you, I'll take the blame for that.

ETA: It doesn't help that a lot of people simply don't know how the American political system works. That's one reason why the OP was "long." If people knew our system, the implications of what I was suggesting would've been obvious.

The idea of race or language specific political parties would be an asinine way of herding everyone based on any loose connection to either into supremacist groups that suddenly believe their racial issue are more important than others.
In fact this plan would actually only serve to further divide people by convincing them only that group is looking out for their interests and any criticism would be deemed prejudicial.

Then the regular non-zombie hive minds that think for themselves would be ostracized even further than they are now for not simply jumping on the bandwagon.

I feel it to be a recipe for disaster. We are supposed to be promoting representation based on shared ideas and values, not race and ethnicity.

If anything, it would just push a rift between people like myself who support the POTUS but should be against him based on perceived default ethnic stances?? You understand what I am trying to say??

Everone just needs to nut up and say "forget race, I am an American human, and I support a President that supports the American way of life".

Anyways, now that we have left the preparation state of WW3 and pieces are already in place, we are just waiting for the election so the real fireworks can begin.

I respect your views. I just think this would be the best chance for real change for blacks in America. Obviously what they've been doing, voting for Democrats, is not working. I don't want to see everything divided along racial or ethnic lines. But as long as it IS that way (thanks Democrats), they might as well try to get some # done.

Hopefully someday we can reach a point where we're all just Americans, but that day seems a long way off. Until then, they'd be well-served to do something like this.

I really don't get this. They have the Democrat party already. They don't need another political party. Plus, starting their own party would cost them the support of white and brown leftists across the country and they need the support of the Hispanic socialists, soon to become the majority minority.
