The Worst is yet to come What's Next?

I'm an optimist by nature, but I'm also not silly. Anyone with one eye open can see we are only looking at the tip of the iceberg.
If we think 2020 was awful, I think 2021 might actually be worse. Maybe not as dramatic as 2020 but worse overall as a country/world.

I really believe in Feng Shui, and although many think that is very woo woo stuff, here is some proof. This year is year of the metal rat.
What is the characteristic of rats? They carry disease, Check! They gather in mass, Check, They love hoarding and eating, Check & Check!
Next year is the year of the ox, which to me means a year of HARDSHIP, nothing but work, no fun, just work, lots and lots of authority, and sometimes very bad tempers, like extreme rage! Oh Boy!

Here's what I'm bracing & preparing for, please add anything I've left out.

- More Corona lock-downs, maybe mandatory vaccinations

-Backlash from the presidential elections. No matter who wins, there will be backlash into 2021. If it is a close race, God help us all.

-Many states are significantly down on sales tax revenues. That money pays for so much, including a lot of jobs & services. We all need
to brace ourselves for higher taxes, and less services, maybe significantly. Some states will be on the verge of collapse (talking to you Illinois)

-As more stores, factories and business regroup, some jobs might not come back. In 2009 (an OX year) We felt the whiplash of the Housing bubble.
This time I think it is going to be felt with jobs, wages, and just overall financial distress for a lot of people. I think we are going to see housing issues too, just not the same as 2009. The stock market is a joke. I think a lot of rich people have propped it up and are going to pull out the rug from a lot of people. Say bye bye to all those 401K gains, etc. I hope I'm wrong, but I don't think so.

-Many teachers are not good with the online learning format, some will be forced to leave, some will do it on their own.
I've heard from many teachers that kids are being cheated out of an education. They are just being given a pass because it is a "tough" year.
Life is tough, we need to teach kids how to be strong in times of distress. This easy pass is going to cause problems down the line when these kids really don't have an education and are entering the job market.

Protests will continue to pop up as a very common occurrence. I think social issues regarding race will be highlight for the next decade.

Although the things I listed above sound very scary, I think it is better to be mentally prepared, physically prepared, and financially prepared.
Start reading about the great depression. See who did well, and who didn't. From what I've read and from people I've known, those that were most self reliant seemed to pull though the best.

i can think free, but when the minions all accept dystopia, and i live on this planet, then i have to deal with it.

its like in england, i would never want to meet the queen of england in england, because that skank expects you to bow down, and everyone does.

now, i would never meet her in the usa either, but if i met any 'royality' in the republic? no way am i bowing to anyone.

or it is like how you are not allowed to have freedom of thought in england.

while in england, i have to obey these laws.

the problem is, those laws and much worse, are in store for not just england, but the entire planet. and once the minions accept these laws, i will have no where to escape to.

the masks were the first sign dystopia is coming.
the riots and looting, cemented this idea.
we are screwed.

Civil war is next. In fact, it's already started.

The media certainly wants to dwelve in doom and misery for all. Wholesale of socialism.

But, if you step outside the media bubble - things are totally opposite.

Virus code is cracked, and meds are ready for distribution in September-October. Come and may the virus back in December, but we are protected.
Economy is opening up - quickly. People start moving forward.
The riots - yes - Democrats want it. But, they are going to go down. People are fed up. The propaganda does not bite.

So, we are on full speed for recovery. And nobody wants to take anymore dhit. So, the mantra of loom and doom is over - we are quit with that. Realism of real world wins.

Absolutely correct. I’ve had tell my friends the same thing. I took a week personal vacation, checked out some old west ghost towns etc. No boob tube, phone, etc. Very refreshing. All the TV news does is make people paranoid with head static.

Hmmm let me see in the real world outside of TV, which I don't actually watch so much

I've had numerous friends die of Covid-19
I've had numerous friends/family lose their jobs
I've had numerous friends/family uncertain of jobs they do have
I've had friends/family directly impacted by riots (on both sides)
I've worked for big Pharma, there is a reason there hasn't been a Covid vaccine to date.

After many genetic engineering programs to rid the world of mosquito bourne diseases,the Microsoft/Google/GSK /CRISPR/Monsanto collaboration of spring 2021 looked the most promising-at first it was a great success:
It acted upon certain enzymes within the mosquitoes gut by modifying its digestive tract in order to prevent disease causing parasites from being able to survive.
Malaria,Dengue,Zika,West Nile,Chikungunya rates plummeted across the world.
The humans rejoyced.
In late 2021 however, UN scientists in the Congo began to notice an unforseen side effect-the mosquitoes were..growing due to an unknown genetic mechanism,caused by the attempts to prevent diseases.
At first they were finding mosquitoes up to 4 times their unmodified size.This interested the scientists,but no one else took much notice.

But the paper’s suggestion that this genetic mixing could have made the mosquito population “more robust”—more resistant to insecticides

COVID19 isn't going away, the next world wide crisis will likely be mutations that break out everywhere.

Let's not forget famine, after that plague of locusts in Africa and the middle east. All we need is drought in some major farming regions and some livestock diseases and your looking at a world wide famine next.

World economic crash, that's coming after all this other stuff plays out.

Two people I know I actually went to school with, THEY ARE DEAD.

I have live all over the US and probably have a lot more friends than the average person, but I assure you
I would not be someone that LIES about death. Maybe you, but not me.

This is what is wrong with the world, if you didn't experience it, you don't believe it. Pretty sad if you ask me.
