I'm gonna start my own region next door to them: The Seattle Progressive Autonomous Zone (SPAZ).

Any one is welcome and I won't charge for passing through. However, all border disputes with the CHAZ will be decided by mortal combat with medieval weapons. This does not include man-buns or lethal body odor.

Now I need to come up with a national anthem. Something to give the SPAZians goose bumps when played.

We have the right not just to speak - but to be heard.

I disagree with this, people aren't entitled to listen to anybody. If one wants to be heard, I suggest improving speech is the most efficient way to do so. Well, there's also charisma which enters in the equation.

Now, on the aspect of whether someone should listen to another is to be pondered carefully, as humans, while being generally predictible, can show unexpected behaviours, hence consequences of ignoring voices can be problematic for a society.

If we are speaking of people in general, then I agree with you. However, as far as government and the right of the people to redress, then no - we have not only the right to speak but to be heard. What good is a constitutionally guaranteed right if the people meant to hear it turn a deaf ear?

You are absolutely correct. I think this was probably the best and most genuine opportunity for meaningful dialogue I have ever seen. The whole country was ready to talk about real change. Instead of grasping that opportunity with both hands and hanging on for dear life the mental midgets opted for vengeance and free stuff and a chance to be on television. Sad.

Play the Star Trek fight theme.

It goes especially well with that kind of thing.

There is also the old Mortal Kombat movie theme. it's nice too.

But you might save it as more your national fight song.

Two words: Unrestricted flyby. Guarantee that'll get the point across. I think midnight would be a good time for the magic to happen.

Solid choices. Both would sound epic as the Mighty SPAZians thrash the CHAZ dorks to the dirt.

Seems like the only religion allowed in the CHAZ is liberalism.

Meh. Itll fizzle out. And if it doesnt, let Cascadia be born.

Im not a federalist, and believe people should make a government that makes them happy. If that madhouse makes them happy, let them have at it.

Agreed.

But what if they wanted to do it on your property?
