And the tires will get payed for by the state.

I’d be willing to bet a G that you’re wrong about this.

You will loose that bet.
* I bet they will contact the owner and tell him what happened
* It is on video so the owner would win a case if the police denies it.
* The police are not doing this for fun and giggles.
* They are there to stop people from destroying the city, so me and you can enjoy it.. and go shopping.

So now they will get paid if they are willing to sue the police in court? I will bet another grand that this was also not official police policy and was done on the officers own accord.

I get it if there's government bootlickers that don't have a problem with this and want to make apologists excuses why it's okay for the government to destroy your property. But here's the thing, I'm not one of them.

If the test in question was, 'How to be a totalitarian statist apologist', I'd say, no, you haven't failed at all. As a matter of fact I think you might graduate Salu-dictator-torian

Sorry. You lost any chance for respect once you made it personal, used unfounded and baseless character assassinations, and tried to play Internet bully.

Quote were I said they were in the right.

Again..

Then why would I post this?

So the cops should get wrote up, placed on probation, and the cost of the tires taken out of their paychecks.

Again.. Do you think I was making a joke?

And why would I let a bully coerce me in to an apology for something I never said while practicing my first amendment right while that person using false authority is complaining about authoritarianism?

So sad to see you try to bully a response and create false arguments where you cannot answer question leveled at you out of intellectual honesty.

Why would I have respect for you at this point.

I think your next post will be well articulated and speak volumes.

Keep on trolling....

Why would I care if you do? It's not like a come to ATS each morning to see if you have a favorable opinion of me or not.

I do find you enjoyable however, your multi-replying posts with their inability to articulate the simple statement, 'The cops were wrong', makes me laugh. I find you amusing.

Those drones in blue don't think they do wrong with "just following orders", which says a lot about this white space of moral deficits in a security state for private property, aka capitalism.

Why am I not surprised? It's probably my Grandpa reborn in the flesh, cosplaying this farce of history repeating itself for #s and giggles.

Pop-corn?

A car is a potential weapon, would you like to walk in front of a parked car while 1000 of people throws bombs at you and yell f*** the police.

I assume you'd feel the same way about taking away their second amendment rights too... since they actually are weapons...

Yep, and I've seen too many videos of our nation's finest destroying medical stations, supplies of bottled water, cartons of milk, and other equally threatening weapons. Standard tactics in a hot situation. Slash some poor regular person's tires to protect someone else's bottom line. Verrrrrry standard tactics.

That makes the destruction of private property acceptable?

Apologist.

The key word in your statement being mostly...
So some were privately owned cars who are possibly now left with no means of transportation till the come up with the money to get their car towed to a safe place where their car can be jacked up and four tires to be replace...
Till they come up with the money to buy 4 tires to replace them.. and, possibly, pay someone to do the labor...
And, oh, Hertz is going bankrupt so that means no harm done?? So... all those rental cars were rented from hertz??

You are just trying to diminish the harm that was done so the police actions seem more reasonable..
