Returned from a weekend trip with mates over in Margaret River and hit the Pines with my new GoPro!

What a weekend, have a watch if you're interested..

I use to mountain bike pretty seriously as a teen.
Gone riding here and there since then, but not the daily single-tracks and downhills I use to hit.

Very relaxing vid, digging the tunes

I picked it up last summer after my blood pressure spiked out of nowhere. Bought a 2008 model Diamondback Sorrento and got a couple of friends who had bikes but hadn't used them much to join me. We have a group of about 8 now and we go out regularly. A 30km run had become minimal.

The town I live in has lots of easily accessible trails close at hand, like within 6km of my house I can be on pretty rugged singletrack. Good gravel is much closer.

I'm December I bought a brand new Trek X Caliber 8 and that's my fancy ride now, though I still use my Diamondback regularly.

This summer I plan to start bikepacking. Working on building a small group of participants.

ETA: This is my Trek.

Meant to tell you..
Good flow on the single track! It's hypnotizing.
Australia looks cool. We have some wicked trails here in Tennessee, if you ever visit the US.
Some are ridiculously steep.

That looks like a really nice, smooth single track there.
