I could have been brought to Juvenile hall when I was 15 years old, not knowing at all what to do. Yeah, that would have been a great experience. I knew they were there to route out drug offenders, so I didnt have a problem with it. I would have been in juvie, possibly the entire night, which would have been great. Sometimes you have to use your head, instead of your ego.

I don't blame you for being scared and complying with unlawful orders to keep from being unlawfully detained and locked up. That was actually smart to do in that situation. You were at their mercy.

The fact that you now say it wasn't a problem and you don't see police abuse even after you admit your rights were violated is what I take issue with.

Not really, the OP has admitted being scared into submission, perhaps the OP just doesn't understand not everyone is subservient and some of us are upset about having a boot pressed down on our foreheads.

Have to admit I haven't had any bad experiences with law enforcement. Been pulled over for speeding, expired inspection, DUI check points, the usual. Every time bar one local part-timer feeling his oats has been professional and uneventful.

Stopped speeding.
asked if I knew how fast I was going? NOPE but I did know they speed trapped there an definitely knew better. The officer did write me a ticket which I deserved an also assisted me with another problem he didn't have to. Nice guy actually.

The expired inspection was another deal with a very overweight over geared part time officer being quite the smart aleck who waited til I'd turned off onto a back road to hit the lights an pull me over. Instead of doing it on the main road where there was traffic. No I didn't know the hubby screwed up an didn't get it done, but 10 min into listening to this guy I was screaming at full volume "I can only be tagged for this ONCE every 24 hrs!! So I WILL see you HERE every day till payday and HAPPILY pay the fines cause I HAVE TO WORK!!!

He wrote me a warning an no I never saw him again. I actually expected him to wait for me cause I'd given him my schedule an would have paid all 4 tickets!!

The best stop was by a NY State Trooper who got me for speeding. We'd stopped for ice cream an this place made waffle cones to order!! Made the waffle as you waited!!! OMG!!! Was eating them an did 50 in a 35 zone by accident. It was rural.... by the time he asked why I was speeding I was gushing about OMG!!! Waffle Cone an he began laughing...
I got a warning, but also had ice cream all running down my arm cause I wasn't sure of the protocol of can you eat while getting a ticket? Don't you have to sit still?? hands on the wheel??? The Trooper thought the dilemma was funny....lucky me.

Most Officers are just doing their jobs an don't know you ain't an ax murderer when they have to talk to you, so I get it's just as twitchy for them as it is for us. If you're decent I've never had them not be either.

This is quite ridiculous your post. Most police are fine, so chances are, if you had a run in 10 or so times, chances are it will be fine.

The Cops are human traffickers, they sell and rape children and distribute and sell child porn. The good ones do nothing about it.
This is against the law and has nothing to do with congress except that they supply members of congress with kids to rape.

these are people expected to uphold the law. They should be arresting congress for being criminals and pedos as well for that matter.

I had a number of interactions with police in my late teens. Overall they were fine but there were a couple that were just dicks but that goes the same for the general population. Yeah, some screaming back and forth happened but it never went past there. The few times I got cuffed I didn't resist, just got into the car without issue. It never even crossed my mind to resist arrest. Maybe I figured that I could get beat up or shot if I did.

54 my son is a drug addict and started getting more and more violant with me he finly went after his wife and crossed the line .
Now at the time i had a warrant FOR CHILD SUPPORT called the police ( my idea was it may scare my son enough to reduce his violent . at most cops mite find a little weed he was smart enough to only ever have enough of the hard stuff like meth or coco on as as USED bases .

So TOLD the police on teh phone right off I have a warret for child support and would be going to jail ( this way they just MITE focus on dealing with my out of control son .

two cops one a female the otehr a Jacked Up bad ass wanna be spent 20 mints yelling in my face tring his best to get me to react without thinking .
Told the JACK boot thug he was wasting his time and he looked like a fool as I was already going to jail over child support and to focas on my sons issues .

20 years aagio as a Younger man yea I would have went off SOMEONE gets IN your face yelling tends to get you jacked up and kicks in FIGHT OR flight which teh POLICE are trained to do !

being at a court room watching a Judge and a women in county whos ONLY charge was resisting ! which means THEY had NO charge and NO reason for the arrest resisting arrest and NO charge BUT that ?

Good cops yea funny thing is THEY ARE the good cops because alest the people involved including my self avoided being beat down BARLY .

O broke up a teen fight once jailed OVER night . called in a robbery once cops decided I was lying LYING to a leo 100 $ again over night . So lest not start on how I must be some massive criminal .

10 times and that poster is happy and ok because even though 10 times they had no reason to stop him he did not get a beat down .
Good cops = ok Ill do what ever you say and as long as no beat down your a great cop

Good deputy when my sons were younger the one boys grandparents would call DCF claming my wife was a drunk drug addict and so on ( btw neither me or my wife drink at all and at best we smoked a joint or 2 in our younger years .
anyway The gardparents called teh sheriffs department and requested they get that son which is really odd as It was NOT even a complaint call on there part .

Deptuy shows up ask to take that son I say You have any thing showing you can take him he says No sir I say well then he is not going with you .
Yes sir have a good day officer leaves .

cops have No choice but to respond to a call BUt what happens once they arrive at the call Is entirely UP to them .

I have had more run ins with the cops than some have had hot dinners , boy did i meet some jobsworths and dicks in that time , I woke up one time with 6 armed cops pointing guns at me in my bed and this is in the uk , a few years ago one crazy neighbor was threatening to kill himself so they send 4 cops armed with machine guns to his door i open my front door in only a pair of jogging bottoms to see what the fuss was about and one swings round pointing the gun at me shouting to get back in my house wtf , another time i woke up in a cell face down and cuffed behind my back worse for drink and one copper stands on my neck the other stands on my ankles the the other twat of a cop full on my back with both feet and he removed my belt by yanking it as hard as he could till the eyelets broke rather than just open it , no wonder i have a bad back .

I dread to think the days i spent in police cells waiting to go to court in 1999 it was 30 plus days , i laugh at them to their face and tell them the worst they can do is put me in a room and give me 3 meals a day and daring them to jail me as i could do with the holiday and i enjoy reading , i am the type that enjoys jails and thrives in them i have rolled more than a few joints in front of cops over the years and not one bothered me for it , i never lie to them what is the point -yes i smoke pot officer dibble i buy it with me wages , rob no one and do not do the hard stuff just whisky and that seems to be the problem - i was a fxxxxing nightmare on the drink and they knew it , it was not unusual while drinking for me to DESTROY a police cell including the mattresses , i am a mean drunk ? i have been beaten senseless a few times by then in the cells and just laughed at them and told them my gran hit me harder and they punched like girls , i used to get very drunk years ago and phone the police station charge bar and ask to book a room for the night ask for cell 13 with the vegetarian breakfast in the morning and sure as hell i would be getting slammed on the counter in the early hours out of the morning after the bars closed and once in the cell i would go nuts punching the metal door for up to 8 hours breaking
bones just to get my temper out
Even in my little backwater part of the uk they are corrupt as hell when it comes to the drug trade as their is BIG money to be made if you are in their gang the ones that openly trade for years and never get busted once

I know one person who openly admits to the cops and goads them about all the bodies[ hundreds ] he has planted across the uk of bad M/F who have been dealt with , he has more sharp things than a surgeon in his tool boxes and yet he walks free as they are too scared to investigate that and he has never been shy in telling them that or where those bodies are dumped but to get the evidence would cost many many millions and crazy man hours through council rubbish dumps

Or maybe it way the MK Ultra hazse he has since a young child that gets him a do what you want card !

Thing is if i saw some lout try to destroy public property in my area or hurt a public servant the brown stuff would fly real quick

Probably dealt with at least 20 different cops. Pulled over and searched a few times. Just pulled over a few more. 1 field sobriety test...they were a little dickish but sent me on my merry way after passing the tests.

Did have an APB out on me and was surrounded by 4 cops guns drawn lol. (Misunderstanding)

Another cop pulled up on me and my buddy walking home from work with his gun drawn...that was a bit unnerving, but there were shots fired in the vicinity moments earlier.

I have treated all police with respect and was mostly shown the same in return
