Since Liberals/Democrats in America want to reduce or eliminate funding of ICE Police, and Local/State Police, there will be a need for each of us (who are willing) to have full law-enforcement authority.

I conducted a little research and found that there is a DOJ statute which allows law enforcement officers under the U.S. Department of Justice, to "DEPUTIZE" civilians with the legal authority to enforce laws, by any means required. Most of us would qualify for category "(d)".

§ 0.112 Special Deputation.

The Director, United States Marshals Service, is authorized to deputize the following persons to perform the functions of a Deputy U.S. Marshal in any district designated by the Director:

(a) Selected officers or employees of the Department of Justice;

(b) Selected federal, state, or local law enforcement officers whenever the law enforcement needs of the U.S. Marshals Service so require;

(c) Selected employees of private security companies in providing courtroom security for the Federal judiciary;

(d) Other persons designated by the Associate Attorney General pursuant to 28 CFR 0.19(a)(3).

All such deputations shall expire on a date certain which shall be stated on the face of the deputation.
[Order No. 1047-84, 49 FR 6485, Feb. 22, 1984, as amended at 61 FR 33657, June 28, 1996]

Since the United States of America presently has 34 National Emergencies in effect, covering all 50 states, the individual qualifications for deputation can be kept to a minimum.

How many ATS members would like to be DEPUTIZED? If you answer "yes", and it's something that can be shared on a public forum, what would you like to do with the federal law-enforcement powers you'll be endowed with?

There are likely others within the DOJ hierarchy that can deputize us.

Marshalls will also escort high-ranking prisoners to GITMO.

A U S Marshall is a federal officer and can exercise authority in more than one jurisdiction, unlike police officers of a certain city. Their main function is with helping the judicial branch in its functions, including protection of judges, prison transport, serving of warrants, and seeking/capturing of fugitives.

A Marshall can with common-law based powers enlist willing civilians as deputies. A serviceman/woman on duty cannot be deputized but if off-duty and in civilian clothing can be.

Interesting times we're living in.

The need for Private Citizens to be Deputized by the DOJ, will be arriving soon in Minneapolis.

NEW: The president of the Minneapolis City Council says the city’s Police Dept. will be dismantled and replaced with a “transformative new model of public safety.”

Yes, get rid of the enforcers of the law, because that's NEVER gone pear-shaped before people could blink, anywhere planet-wide.

Idiots. Good god.

I think everyone should be asking a lot of questions when they hear something like this. What exactly is going on here? This does not sound right.

Marshals? I don't think I want to be riding a horse and carying a six shooter. I don't think the horse would want me riding him either, that would be cruelty to animals.

Enforcing the law is honorable. No one but the law-breakers will regret being apprehended.

We'll keep our eye on Minneapolis. Lets see how their new kinder-gentler force works out.

When I was a kid, there was a song with lyrics, "I shot the sheriff, but I did not shoot the deputy".

The moral...being DEPUTIZED by the Feds, is safer than being employed as a Sheriff. Maybe.

Since Congresswoman Ilhan Omar is one of the big-shot controllers of Minneapolis, it's possible that her RADICAL VIEWS are dominating all levels of government there.

Re: twitter.com...

Are these the "good guys"? Can't tell anymore. I hear President Trump has hired "Dirty Dozen" mercenaries to do what needs to be done, if the White House fence is breeched.
