it is the military when give the first aid

you can't say that for sure, some police swat teams wear camo.

Several other police officers walked past the unnamed man on the ground. But two NYSP officers in military uniform approached the man. One NYSP officer appeared to kneel on the ground after seeing the man to help him, according to another video of the incident shared on YouTube.
While Buffalo Officers Walked Past the Bleeding Man They Knocked Down, State Police Rushed to His Aid

very last line in the story,

"No New York National Guard personnel were involved in that incident," the spokesperson confirmed.

He was shoved hard by the policeman who runs up from behind , the same one who pushed on the policeman who stopped to hear the old man and then decided to go to his aid,

Thats the one cop who definitely needs sacking here it's the same one that shouts move , and that the old man is faking it , probably too.

People should watch several times with the sound up and second by second , that old man was trying to give a lost phone to them or something like that. He didn't expect to get injured like that , and he could be dead .

Yes, I saw all that, and I presumed everyone did hear the comments, but then I have a 700 watt amp, maybe others don't.

But you must see all the posts here at this thread that are like something out of a, 'Monty Python' episode,

And just like that sketch they are all in denial...it never happened, just the same as the police attack in Washington.

Are those people so emboldened with Trump's lying rhetoric, that they think they can get away with it, just by making up more lies.

RE 'The pics say it is true , it's unclear why they've resigned

Fifty-seven resigned in disgust because of the treatment of two of their members, who were simply executing orders,” union president John Evans told NBC affiliate WGRZ.'

As I have said in a Reuters Youtube of the video, ''Its almost as if they are ordering the cops to act worse to stoke tensions on purpose. I cannot imagine this stupidity was thought to be a normal action'

Hence them all resigning since they were operating under orders.

But I usually read too much into things.

Yeah we must be surrounded by Shill- Billie's from Hicksville here.., or are they Cointelpro staff from Langley .

It is just like that sketch though you're spot on its almost pointless to argue the facts. There has to be some truth though if we don't state it no one will. Like kept pets to remind them of the actual bottom lines.

bluechip is just spouting sh@@ with out any facts. makes him look very ignorant, the man was there protesting and he confronted the cops, if he wants people to watch the video at slow speed, he needs to clean his glasses. the old reached for the cop on his left once, then reached a 2nd time and touched him.

the two cops in front of the old man are the ones that pushed him. the cop behind them could have been reaching for the one on left,(the one holding his baton with both hands) to stop him.

to say he pushed him with out any kinda facts to back it up is ignorant.

and to agree with him is to.

ETA: this is some the old man posted online,

“Protests are exempt from curfews because Congress (and mayors) may make no laws that abridge the right of the people peaceably to assemble and complain to the government. The government should receive the complaint with thanks, not arrest the people or beat them.” He has retweeted negative comments about police, including one man’s tweet that read, “US police forces are the terrorist organization, not Antifa.”

The soldier (?) has a proper gun as well , a sizeable weapon, it's not a stick .

Maybe police should stick to actual Criminal matters and when it comes to protest management someone like the national guard should do it instead , just a suggestion . That way there wouldn't be such a conflict of interest .

The cop behind pushed the policeman on screen left forward just as that policeman was pushing the the oldish man, that only added to the momentum.

You can argue semantics if you like,
fact is the man is quite serious, but cogent in hospital, but it was police that caused the action, and deliberately so.

I've watched it several times at slow and normal speed and I don't believe the push was hard enough to knock him down. It looks to me like he "helped" his fall, like diving in hockey. He probably thought he would land softly but you don't with a frame that big.

According to the quick look I just took, courts all over the country are split on whether or not a curfew is constitutional. it depends on the scope along with other things. Without seeing the DC curfew statue to compare, we just don't know if it was constitutional or not.

No he runs up shouting move at him and pushes him backwards qlthough it might have been both of them , either way he does down hard you can hear the oofs as he cracks his head on the pavement. And he still could have had a legit reason to have gotten in the way.

Whether he s annoyed by injusticethen it doesn't matter most of the rest of America is and anyway cuomo and the chief of buffalo police and the mayor have put their oars in the right way up so that's ok.

I'd sack the guy who did the shoving the shouting and the stopping of first aid

Also, Bowser exempted voters from the 7pm curfew. She tried to get everyone to vote via mail-in but most that asked for one never got it according to Slate.

The article says they hand-delivered some to try to get them to voters and "finally, emailed some to voters, an untested and insecure procedure strongly opposed by voting rights advocates."

Her administration also consolidated their polling places down to 20 for 700,000 voters. I'm going to speculate some in favor of the mayor:

20 polling places
Let's just say for kicks there were 25 voting booths per location.
700,000 divided by 500 booths equals 1,400 voters per booth over the day.
If they were open from 6am through 8pm, just for their benefit of the doubt, it would have required each voter to spend a whopping minute and a half from the time they got there until they left. The article referenced above says the DC Board of Elections tracker reported no one waited longer than 90 minutes.

90 Minutes. Hold on to that timeframe for a moment.

Some people in line said they had been waiting for three hours, some at another location had waited for five hours. They shut down the voting after the last voter was done at 1:30am. Five and a half hours after normal polls close.

Apparently three officers hadn't received the update to extend curfew for voters, at one location one officer told being to go home at 7pm, the original curfew time, another location had two police cars telling people to go home at 7pm. That is not right and shouldn't have happened. Intentional? I doubt it, not with all the other violence going on.

So the mayor isn't exactly innocent in the debacle that is DC management of this issue. Just thought I'd throw that out there too.

A legitimate reason to get in their way? Are you high? You have a sea of officers coming at you, no other individuals in the immediate area, you're a long-time protester with an agenda and you go out of your way to touch one of the officers after being told to back up multiple times? Only an idiot does that.

Bingo.
He's NO spring chicken to demonstrations, he knew from years of experience what to possibly expect, and joined the throngs anyway.

No sympathy, grandpa, sorry. Karma's a fickle beyotch.

Have you got a granny? does she believe that things are not right, or everything is schmaltzy.

Police as I see it, have no authority to attack citizens who have done nothing in the immediate, while they can attack criminals.

No Bingo for you mate.

Karma is a bitch and the kind of hate you harbor for that old man could come back to haunt you in the future or your family.

Reveling in others misfortunes is something the great spirit detests.

Not a fan of this at all. You can dislike riots and still have compassion for that dude. He wasnt doing anything. Even the cop that pushed him had some level of regret or compassion.

If that were my dad id have already been arrested over this.

So, imagine the protestors got a parade permit, and reserved the area for their use. It carries the caveat that everyone has to have a mask, and stay 6 ft. Apart. Cop comes out and tells them 3x to social distance, or disburse.

They just pack tighter, so HQ says to clear the plaza.

The cops are walking a police line, moving clusters of people to the back. ...

Is one protestor allowed to break up the police line, or grind things to a halt?

“Uh, Gee sarge; we were gonna make the crowd leave, but a really old guy wouldn’t move, he wanted us to stop so he could yell at us for a while...”
