There's even a picture of a man in red on Legal Insurrection's aggregate of ANTIFA involvement.

Crap. That reminds me...we have unsecured bricks retaining the decorative rock in the front of my house. We'll have to do something about them in the morning.

The very idea that so many Americans disagree with the standard narrative from the right-wing echo chamber ...

And just what is that, please do tell...

What you really see as you hang around is that racism, real racism, is vibrantly alive here. Some of the worst racists are the ones who always protests that they aren't and yet they screech about every concern expressed about Black America as THE RACE CAAARD!!! and claim that any discussion of real racism is "race baiting" and "sowing division." It's a pretty tight system of denial and circular logic.

Many applaud the cops who kill. They like to chant about "law and order" ... that's the dog whistle.

IMO

Who chants anything positive about cops who kill, who in America right now is chanting Floyd should have died? You are so full of it at times...

You always suggest extremes as the norm and you do this everytime to some how put weight to your points and it doesn't help them in anyway.

The funny part is you and I see about 90% the same on this, but I'm wrong and you are right...lol Stop it...

Yes, an opinion. Not the truth.

The ironic thing about rhetorical dog whistles... the people who claim there are such whistles seem to be the only ones who can hear them.

Who is chanting 'law and order', by the way? I know that Trump is trying to make that a campaign bumper sticker, but that seems to be it.

Well, that was a bit tense for me and mine...a whole slew of rowdy protestors were congregated outside my front door blocking traffic on my street (I'm in Louisville). Fortunately, they moved on and it's just a few stragglers passing by now.

I didn't realize you were that urban (I'd assumed suburbia) Be vigilant, sleep with one eye open -- these idiots switch intensity & intent gears at the drop of a hat.

Honestly, I'm nervous for you, and I mean that.

We're right in the thick of it, unfortunately. I'm nervous, too. I have a plan to get out if we need to. My car is parked in the alley behind my house and I have two ways to exit in case I can't get out via one of them.

No trouble near me tonight though. Hope it stays that way.

Electrification is easy, but booby traps involving shrapnel is more fun... just food for thought.

We already know (at least those of us in the real world outside the All Trump Supporters echo chamber) that the riots and looting is time and time again the result of instigators not associated with the protesters, and who often seem to be criminals in uniform and White Supremacists.

Ten why do you and others recoil from positions many of us taken in favor of THE LOOTERS and RIOTERS (notice, not saying protesters) be shot on sight, if you're acknowledging those who would be removed from our little slice of hell are POS excuses for humans and serve no purpose aside from raising cain? Methinks you do not believe your own words, Gryph...

THIS twitter.com... is peaceful, according to CNN and MSNBC.

Retired Police Captain laying on a St Louis sidewalk bleeding out, with with bystanders filming him dying, after being shot by a George Floyd supporter.

Daily reminder that white supremacists, who are both a tiny, insignificant group with no popular support whatsoever, while also being the greatest existential threat to the country, not only supposedly have the collective IQ of a glass of water, but simultaneously can pull off a nation-wide infiltration and false flag riot using "peaceful protestors"

But far be it for me to question the inherently contradictory nature of the official narrative. I would have thought it was a nationwide anarchist movement whose express goal is to destroy the nation that was responsible, but something so simple would clearly be preposterous.

Now if you'll excuse me, I have to get the secret New Swabia Haunebu saucer to the Valhalla Moonbase to plot the next stage of the return of National Socialism with the remnants of the Reich. Good day, fellow White Supremacists.

You make a string of assumptions that suit your "argument." What you say could also be said of "ANTIFA" ... so what have you proven?

The evidence we do have clearly shows that protests across the nation have been infiltrated by outside organizations and that the protesters, by a wide margin, are not looters, vandals, etc.

Good attempt at ad absurdum though overall. Seems like you're passionate about the defense.

I'm just curious as to what end.

Same end as now.

They've been running the show for decades. They're protesting themselves.

What we've watched is cloward and piven. Deliberetaly targeting small business owners. They virtually destroyed the local economy.

So they can create that utopia they've dreamed of for so long.

Not only that, but it would be much easier for the nationwide anarchist movement seeing as how they have been allowed to foment on many college campuses. I know ANTIFA was active at UT, for example. They were threatening to doxx conservatives at UT as recently as last 4th of July.

I went to look at the radical blogs from the area and discovered something interesting. They all suddenly packed up shop and ended at the same time, right around December 2018. Radical activity didn't quite end, but the groups announced they were gone. Did they go away, or did they consolidate and go underground for some other purpose?

ANTIFA mouthpieces left ATS about the same time...and...surprise...now they're suddenly back.

Again, if the bad seeds are a fraction of the protesters, then I can only wonder why there isn't wide support, including from you, to swiftly deal with those bad seeds.

Well, ex KGB agent Yuri Besmenov explained this when he talked about the Soviet Sleepers and people who would agitate for various “ rights” and cause upheaval and bring instability.

I really cant do this anymore. I deal with major brain crap on the daily anyway...but I cant sit in my 4 wall prison day after day and watch and read this crap anymore. I feel like I'm about to explode. Then watching the dog story and seeing it was killed kinda pushed me over the edge. Protests are one thing, but rioting looting burning and killing are another. One leads to another and so on and so on...who need guns and bombs. So, killing an innocent dog is your legacy now. How proud you must be. This isnt about a man, or equality. Its about revenge.

Yes Bosco, one wonders why these governors were arresting people just for opening up their beauty salons but they just ask the looters to practice safe social distancing and wear their masks whine burning down the city. Not to mention the rioters killed a black ex cop in Stt Louis but no o e cates about him. I grew up in St. Louis and it saddened me a lot.

You can actually tell who the dangerous individuals are in this massive group. There's a cluster of 3 or 4 who are grouped together in what seems to be the "back" of the current crowd (I'm gonna say a couple thousand easily) who are decked out in all black, full balaclavas, obvious tactical clothes and backpacks. Like not Walmart packs, either, high dollar tactical packs.
There are others with backpacks who seem to be more typical ANTIFA sheep footsoldiers.

There is an entire branch of Social Psychology that deals with the dynamics of crowds. Passive and active members of the group. Instigators and flashpoint controllers. It's quite the science.
