Many police actions have been overly aggressive and uncalled for too.

Have the lefties infiltrated the police too?

Fact: More blacks murder other blacks than anyone else, including LEOs, in the U.S.

So, do you protest the fact that more blacks murder other blacks than anyone else?...

Oh? Okay, wise guy. Who ordered the attack? The Governor of DC?

It wasn't trump liar

Unless you would like to provide evidence
Or a source

It is just more bullcrap lies from you

Trump is a jackass but he made NO duch order
Take your lies elsewhere

Honestly, how could they, or you, know if Trump gave the order or not?

Logically, though, Trump bears responsibility for the actions of his Secret Service, which are under his command.

No, he's probably right. Trump doesn't have the authority to order the Secret Service to do anything but open his diet soda.

Are you sure? Karen might break a nail, then there'll be tears!

I love this peaceful protestor narrative.

Burning down buildings, beating random bystanders, shooting at police, ramming cars into police, shooting fireworks at police helicopters.

Real smart and peaceful bunch.

And we have left-wing celebrities paying the bail of "peaceful protesters..."

Celebrities pay bail of those arrested in protests for the death of George Floyd

How do these celebrities know the reason why those they helped get bail were sent to prison?...

I mean, these celebrities "must know" for what reason those protesters have been jailed, and seem to imply those protesters are innocent...

Why are you defending these criminal scuzzballs? Are your morals that thin?

There are peaceful protestors, exercising their 1st Amendment rights to address the government with their greivences and demand redress. There are extremist agitators that infiltrate and exploit opportunities to exert their agenda. There are opportunists, many of whom are organized, looters. Not all are the same people, showing up at the same time, with the same agenda, doing the same things.

You can't blame peaceful protestors for what others do. Besides, there are tons of YouTube, Twitter and TicTok videos of peaceful protestors turning violent agitators over to cops, trying to stop them and/or photographing them while calling them out.

I'm defending the constitutional right to protest, whether it's kneeling at an NFL game, burning a flag or gathering at La Fayette Park in front of the White House.

Protests are supposed to be uncomfortable, unconventional and threatening to the status quo.

I'm going to go out on a limb and say if you don't want to watch or hear about peaceful protests then you should flip back over to FOX

Actually Fox News has been defending the REAL peaceful protestors, meanwhile pointing out "the not so peaceful protestors..."

Lat me guess. They're a bunch of white guys and gals, carrying long guns and tire irons, protesting stay at home orders in Michigan at the State Capitol?

Yep
Just defending the 1st, right
Seems some 1sts are more defendable than others

Their is peaceful protest. One was held in London today in solidarity with peaceful protest in the US.

It's not unheard of for protests to be hijacked nor is it unheard of for media to project a false light on protests.

Here's the org chart. Click on 'Executive Branch of the US Government' and then 'Executive Department Sub-Agencies and Bureaus', scroll down a fair bit (it's in alphabetic order) and there's the 'Secret Service'.

I'm an Australian.

But people have no right to looting, destroying private and public property, and beating people to a pulp meanwhile attacking police officers and other LEOs...

What happened to Floyd is a crime but that gives no right to anyone to resort to violence.

That isn't just gathering they are throwing Molotov cocktails at the secret service, how does that honor George Floyd? oh that's right that's not the point anymore. Now it is destroying it any means necessary, and the misguided protesters wouldn't know what to do about any of this anyway, Floyd was murdered in Democratic state in Democratic city on a police force run by Democrats, to act like this is the '60s is asinine and absurd.

I'm so perplexed at the general attitude of posters on ATS on all this. It's basically the black man has a specific role in society and the white man has a better role in society, and if you disagree with that, you will be killed, because that is what is happening.
