We would all very much love if life just wouldn't be so gawd damned complicated. It would be wonderful if all of this happening lately would be a simple black and white, good and bad, democrats and republican issue.
But is it?
Let's try to detach ourselves from all the feelz for a second and look at it as if it was not a matter that in anyway has connections to us personally.

Trump was supporting the democrats for a really long time. Even the Clintons.
If Obama would have been republican, Trump would be democrat.
You know it's true, because in many regards Obama is a lot more conservative, than Trump. If you look at their private lifes.

The donkey and elephant porn is just for you, to give you the illusion you got a team, a vote, power.
But it's maybe important to note that those who keep the state running, those who are unelected but faithful ministers of the system, they stay - no matter who you vote for.
They couldn't care less if the donkey #s the elephant, or the elephant the donkey.

And that is the cancer that needs attention.
You can't deny there are severe systematic problems. Crime, the homeless, drugs, ... all of those things don't have to be as bad as they are.
People are born the same, they die the same, the same. Is it their fault, they're born in a #ty neighbourhood? To parents struggling to provide food and a roof? Neighbours who became nihilistic, because the Jungle has its own rules of survival? Is it the pupils fault when the teachers are disillussioned?

You may say "free stuff means I have to pay" and that might be true. Privilege means responsibility. "It takes a village to raise a kid"
the Village is the entire USA.

And just as example, hypothetically, the horror: democrats rule and Floyd was republican. Wouldn't you want to change the rules? If a guy gets treated like dirt "I can't breathe!" And the cop is acting according to the guide lines, guide lines that accidentally kill a guy. Because of 20#ing $.

In this situation we are actually in, you can't deny there's a systematic cultural indoctrination, in music, movies, tv, news that makes you think those "thugs" are born that way.
They aren't.

They're out there rioting, looting, burning, because they don't feel they belong. Because your America and their America are two seperate worlds.
And the divide is not republican or democrat. It's not rich or poor. It's not obedient good citizen against criminals.

The divide is hope. Justice. Freedom.

You know those things are true for all, or not true at all.

Meh.
They don’t feel they belong because they don’t want to belong.
They chose not to be Americans, no no, they insist on being “African” Americans.

Life is just easier when you blame failure on victimhood.

"African American" because it's an improvement to "negro or black" because people like you need to emphasise the difference.

We will only be equal when nobody notices the difference.
That will only happen when people stop insisting they’re different.

Not every nation is as divided as the USA currently is, all nations have there problems whether that is lack of resources, lack of space, lack of finance or overpopulation, yet somehow its currently the USA (which has an abundance of all resources/finance/space) making headlines for all the wrong reasons.

American music, TV and culture has a massive influence globally but it does not seem to bring the same level of negative indoctrination elsewhere, having visited the USA (New York) I can attest that I found everyone to be perfectly friendly.

I hope the troubles are resolved sooner rather than later

Identity matters

You know in a world where every bluntone is known as slave, lazy, dumb, thug... you'd feel the need to underline by your existence the fact that bluntone is people too.

So what's your solution? Send all black babies in filthy cities to live with their white grandparents in Hawaii?

First of all, let me say, Starred and Flagged. Well said and great topic.

I've been trying to point out that the two 'sides' are complete media fabrications for a while now.

Yet, I still get assigned to the "leftist" side, because, of course, there's only two, and I'm obviously not on the side of the statist, authoritarian bootlickers.

The problem is the sheer amount of disinformation the media puts out, which in turn get's posted here (sometimes three or four times in succession.)

You've been here a while. You know that this All Trump Supporters crap is not the way it needs to be.

IMO... thanks for the thread.

Being different isn't the issue, being spoiled rotten whiny brats using differences as an excuse to demand to be treated like the Queen's jewels on the highest pedestal possible -- but no one else is allowed to aim for the same -- is the issue.

In short, demanding preferential treatment and screaming racism if they don't get it is what's wrong with America.

The solution lies totally in the hands of the blacks/African/etc people.

One major problem is so many kids born without fathers around. It’s like 75%.
Another is them killing each other. Chicago Alone averages over 500 murdered men every year.

For a group of people so focused on preserving their culture they sure don’t seem to interested in addressing the problems within their culture.

We have to be the only country that puts another country in front of the actual country they are a citizen of. There are no African Americans, Latino Americans, Swedish Americans. They are all Americans. If one wants to be called African then move to Africa.

The "This is fine" meme is extremely apropos to that problem.

Africa is a continent, not a country.
Latino is not a country but an ethnicity.
But Sweden is.
1 out of 3 correct, a little more effort next time you can get to 2 out of 3!

There is no solution until individuals take it upon themselves to make the situation better.

You can extoll the virtues of education, and work ethic until you are blue in the face, but until ppl stop making excuses, and blaming "whitey", nothing will change.

How many billions have we poured into inner city social programs, to no avail?
