For real?

Its a race thing, white officers killing black people. A race thing.

Come on now you know it is, right? Its as obvious as anything that yet again a black civilian has been murdered by law enforcement happens quite a lot in America y'know??
Its history repeating.

I dont understand your reasoning here? Trying to stir it up?

You need to look up the origins of the police in america, familiarize yourself with their history and what they were created for, and what their role is in the country.

I'll give you a little hint, it's about Class Control. Police abuse poor people, turns out; a lot of minority families and neighborhoods are poor. White people are murdered unjustly just like this by police regularly too, and guess what they have in common?

Being poor. Now when it happens to minorities, the nature of which meaning there is less of them in the country, the nature of which meaning there is more of them in these poor neighborhoods, it happens to be a black victim fairly often -- but this really isn't about race, it's about class, and it just so happens that a lot of minorities happen to be in the lowest financial classes.

That guy who put his knee on dudes neck, didn't do it because he was black, and if it were a white guy, he'da died all the same. This isn't a racial slight, this isn't me trying to take the attention away from them etc etc... This is just the truth.

Cops kill people of every color.

Check out this article; it does a great job showing that less black people are actually killed by cops in this way, but that the smaller number is actually a greater percentage of their whole, because there are less of them. People who don't understand this don't understand math or statistics.

Math isn't racist.

ALL OF THAT BEING SAID;

Yeah, sometimes the killer is racist.

If a White cop shoots a black guy, it is always a race issue, but the cop can shoot a white guy and it is ok. If a cop shoots a woman it is a gender issue, only women cops can shoot women I guess.

And when a black cop shoots a white guy? .......surely it happens?

Will that be a race issue too?

Or is it only ever a race issue when the 'victim' is black.

I think the bigger question is why is there such an over reaction in the western world, while the rest would be worried about other things.

Cops in the U.S would be stupid if they weren't paranoid enough as it is dealing with a civilian population whose armature that double, or triple it own military.

Racism in certain parts of the states does seem like a an underlying issue.

Derek Chauvin: What we know about the former officer charged in George Floyd's death

He had 18 prior complaints against him

"Before he knelt on Floyd's neck, Chauvin was the subject of 18 prior complaints filed against him with the Minneapolis Police Department's Internal Affairs.
Police confirmed the complaints were filed but didn't detail why they were filed or what they entailed.

Only two of the 18 complaints were "closed with discipline," according to a MPD internal affairs public summary. In both cases, Chauvin received a letter of reprimand.
According to Communities Against Police Brutality, a Minnesota nonprofit that created a database of complaints against officers in the state, Chauvin received oral reprimands for using a "demeaning tone," "derogatory language" and other language that merited discipline.
Neither the nonprofit database nor the Minneapolis internal affairs public summary include dates or descriptions that incited the complaints.
Former officer Tou Thao, who was also involved in Floyd's arrest, had six complaints filed with internal affairs, one of which was still open, the summary said. The other five were closed without discipline.
The other two former officers, J. Alexander Kueng and Thomas Lane, had no complaints filed, according to a MPD internal affairs public summary."

Like I said, sounds like more of a police problem than a race problem

Racism was and is still a problem in the US - but setting off riots and chaos is hardly a way to solve the problem
- It only makes things worse
- And we know there are people out there who want to do just that!

He and George Floyd once worked security shifts at the same nightclub.......

This too is worth looking into - Could a personal dispute between tham have something to do with the incident
