It occurs to me that our society is so strong the enemy has to be careful and it is a better way to not fight battles but to infiltrate and demoralize.

The reason we forced this tactic from them was our dominance because of a Good vs Evil real world issue we bring to the table, faults and all. Things like Cpt America/Superman/Batman represents what America stands for to someone in tyranny that makes the whole world love us and want to live like us. We aren't super hero's, we are just bringing things good like freedom to speak and freedom to not be raped daily or be beheaded for not wanting to believe in someone else's god.
