These guys had some great cast members over the years, they even won an Emmy For Outstanding Writing in a Variety or Music Program. Heres the flick ( www.youtube.com... )

During the awards ceremony presenter Milton Berle unamused apparently by the long list of names mocks the award by sarcastically stating, " Thats funny " and is told, "Sorry, Uncle Miltie...go to sleep" a referral no doubt to the Texaco star theater program where he would often say, "Listen to your Uncle Miltie and go to bed"
Berle replies, "What" not expecting the retort.
Now really...thats funny....lol
www.youtube.com...

Another great flick that shows the immense talent they had and guests who frequented the set;
www.youtube.com...

Some of the regular cast included well knowns like Rick Moranis, Martin Short, John Candy, Eugene Levy, Catherine O`hara, Dave Thomas, Andrea Martin, Tony Rosato, and so many more. Special guests included, John Belushi, Robin Williams, Bill Murray, and Carol Burnette to name but a few.
This was in my opinion one of the greatest Canadian comedy troupes of all time that would rival SNL.

Me too! Then I moved on to 22 Minutes and Air Farce. Now I'm sad I to say I don't watch anything Canadian anymore. One of my fav dramas of all time is still North of 60.

Great show! Seems like it came on right after SNL but that was when I was in HS, so.....who knows.🤪

Friday’s was another great show in that era.

loved that show.
like how they had that recurring cast of performers (Sammy Maudlin, Earl Camembert, Johnny LaRue, Lola Falana), all managed by the incomparable Guy Caballero.

Count Floyd presenting 'Scary Monster Horror Theater' and instead of a movie they showed a Bobby Bittman get interviewed instead. "Um...wasn't that scary, kids?"
