The Covid-19 notification app was automatically downloaded to my android phone with an update that was done automatically. I am unable to follow the instructions, because the option is not accessible. The option is there, but is not highlighted, therefore, I am unable to access the option to uninstall. How do I uninstall this app?

If I can't uninstall the app, will the tracking still be programmed into a plain flip phone?

If there is no work around for this, I will have to dump my cell phone altogether. My job will not go along with my decision so, that is just another thing I will have to do without.

Covid 19 is a virus....you will need a powerful anti-virus to remove it. Try dropping it into a bag of hydrochloraquine solution.

Oh that's right...HCQ is an anti-malware-ia treatment. Not really an antivirus treatment.

Take phone out of pocket... drop to floor.... perform drop kick x1000...

If that does not work just keep your own boot stamping on the phone face - forever

Then maybe ask why do I have a phone that auto updates with such sh!t? Maybe not buy new phone in future.

Or maybe im the only idiot out there with a dumb phone these days but im quite glad for it despite the herd slagging me in the workplace, friends, family etc too.

Anyways, have fun trying to destroy it!

No offense... just kinda knew this crap would be used for something like this and more in future.

Try "Revo Uninstaller". The way I would do it is to delete the data and cache for the app, and disable it or force stop it, then "Revo Uninstaller".👍

If all else fails, I think I will place it inside a fish, then drop it into a canal, a long way from home.

Better stay ALERT! Because under the mobile phone act -section 52-b/sub section 249 + A+B times table = non-fishing act sub section B)

This could result in you not being allowed to grow plants under Uranus act or similar!

I mean... you ever just get tired of this globalist rule shieet etc

I cannot believe the things that are going on right now.

Place your phone in a sock, ascend to the highest point available, swing rapidly around your head while closing your eyes then let go at a random point of revolution.

Sorted.

Now go out and have fun without staring down and using only your thumb.

Download CCSWE app mngr pro.
You can kill any bs factory loaded spyware as well as spy updates.
Without rooting phone.
Add noroot firewall while you're at it.
It logs all traffic and opens your eyes to the data mining coming out of these phones.
It's unreal.

The first thing you do is to turn it off. Then you lay it on a solid oak work table laying face up and smash it with the biggest hammer you can find.

PS: You turn it off so it won't feel the pain.

Everyone should keep the app and run a location spoofing app.
Eff these guys.
If you get this forced update contact your carrier and cancel your service and tell them why.
Don't be a pushover.

Mass surveillance because there is a cold isn't acceptable.
Let them know. Call them 300 times in a row until they btfo.

I have not had this experience with my android phone.

But if you go into settings and then Apps you should have opportunity to shut it off.

Yes. They snuck this by us.

I was ready to do all the things that many of the ATSers suggested and still may if this invasive app is not removed from my phone.

Go to settings and look under Google. It will not allow you to shut it off.

I don't know what I did, because there was no app or file labeled COVID-19, but I disabled and uninstalled a bunch of stuff, and it is not there anymore.

Well let's say I don't see it anymore. Since they snuck it in once, they are likely to do it again, so I will make sure it is the first thing I do every morning, and the last thing I do each night, is to check to see if they have downloaded it to my phone again.

Thanks.

Smash your phone. Smash your television.

It is better that way. You are better that way.
