Why laugh?

Cops vote Blue.

Their unions give blues more money to get elected.

Then so people that they given money to turns them in to villians every chance they get.

And call them racist, and ever other perjorative they can think of.

PS a person has a 14th amendment right NOT to like someone else.

But I digress.

Social bullsnip justice or what the eff ever.

Floyd was going to get 20 years anyway.

The penalty for passing fake money is pretty stiff.

I understand your fixation. It appears you have been brainwashed to associate social justice with socialism and communism. Anything with the word 'social' in it is suspect?

Justice doesn't need an adjective in front of it.

Well, I think it's fairly obvious.

He doesn't want the hospitals overwhelmed with a 2nd wave so they can open up sooner.

He probably called Whitmer for advice.

So we're back to the argument that it is ok that Officer Chauvin murdered him because he was facing a long sentence for something he was never charged with, convicted of, or sentenced for? Passing a fake $20? That's your brand of blind justice? I won't call it social justice anymore (triggered).

If there is another way to interpret this quote, please tell me. Not a straw man, your words.

Ok, one more try with you. It looks like the others have left the sand box for the moment.

Would you care to explain the reference and thus appear coherent to me?

Stating a FACT.

Turned in to this.

Let's be honest, ok? Words have meaning beyond their superficial definition. They imply so much more in context than they do in the strict dictionary sense. I interpreted your comment in a way consistent with its context. It is an accurate interpretation. Any reasonable person with moderate knowledge of the subject matter would concur that my interpretation is valid. You aren't going to try to wriggle away from the truth behind your comment, are you? In front of your friends? Own it!

No they don't.

So much for being honest.

Words convey thoughts. Stop being slimy. If you are going to say he was facing a long sentence anyway because forgery laws are strict, you are implying not only that it is ok that former Officer now arrested suspected murderer Chauvin killed George Floyd, but that he, former Officer now arrested suspected murderer Chauvin, was actually doing him, George Floyd, a favor! Can I get an Amen?

No? ok.

Whew, that was fun!

I needed to vent and this thread was perfect for me. I can't say I have missed ATS, or that it is good to be back posting today, but I am thankful for the outlet and the opportunity to speak my mind.

So, let's recap. There may not be social justice, but there is certainly social injustice, and it is evident in the murder of George Floyd. The fact that the effort is afoot to shift the focus from the murder of George Floyd to inept Democratic leadership in Minnesota is further evidence that the socio-political-economic apparatus that sustains and perpetuates this kind of social injustice is hard at work maintaining the status quo. Pretty transparent though. You'll have to do better than that.

Bye for now kiddos. Shred you later.

You yourself are keeping inside and staying socially distanced. In other words, you wrote a big ol' post fully of virtue signalling. You probably wear a mask everywhere too, but that's beside the point. You basically invited me to throwdown and try to prove that I am somehow doing more than you to prevent the spread by indignantly explaining all the measures I personally take. I don't play that game. What I do or don't do is no business of yours.

At any rate, if you are so studiously keeping yourself inside, then what I am or am not doing makes little difference to you.

1. You don't know me from Adam (or Eve in this case). For all you know I live clear across the country from you. So even if I am not taking any steps to socially distance, wear a mask, etc., it has little impact on you because we don't share the same community.

2. Even if we did, you explained yourself that you are being a good little sheep and keeping yourself inside. Whatever happens to me, has next to no impact on you regardless.

So the only way any perceived faults in my disease fighting virtue could impact you in your WFH cocoon would be through the miasma theory of disease that we did away with in the 19th century which was basically the idea that disease was spread through "bad air" or miasma and not microorganisms like bacteria and viruses.

And no airborne disease isn't the same. A fart is more akin to a miasma than an airborne disease.
