There is no grand cabal in the police force dictating these actions. It’s sheer incompetence from top to the bottom. Incompetence that is protected and even demanded in some places of its officers. Sad really.

Demanding higher stringency on who can be hired as a police officer would be a start, coupled with higher education.
Degrees in ethics, philosophy , medical and law come to mind.

But I think it's more a matter of not even trying to avoid a race war that's already brewing, and that pot has now reached boiling point. The people have long complained of excessive force by police. This isn't a new problem. The police and other authorities have failed to control their own, while expecting more and better from the people than from themselves.

What's that saying about play stupid games and win stupid prizes? It goes both ways.

Well, lets see. The commies came over in the 40's to try and entice blacks to join their cause with literature, sympathy for the black cause (which barely existed at the time), and to politically educate them in the ways of socialism. These folks were straight from the motherland peddling their wares to get communism off the ground in America. Technically we do the same thing all over the globe.

Not a stretch to think that they could still be engaged in such an action. Except this time, politicians at the top are for sale...cough....Sanders .... cough.

Want to change a government? Civil unrest is the first step to dissension with ones rules and society. Maybe the cop was just an a-hole. After all sometimes a a-hole is just an a-hole. Yet it could very well be an agenda in play. If that's so, COVID is certainly tied into the puzzle.

Quite a few things these days seem trite and forced.

Like the asian reporter, who had a "good samaritan" identify him as being not white in I believe the Ferguson riots.

People can say its not a race thing, but the cop us always automatically white, a lot of the rioters usually see no delineation

Sorry but I am also afraid of cops. My point is that its now my opinion that they are really foreign terrorists embedded within the police. It sounds plausible as they are taking things to the extreme when there is no need to.

Outside of the fantastic fear driven realm of CT's what sounds more logical and realistic:

1. People in positions of abused those positions of power.
2. Foreign actors and operators have infiltrated the police .

You do know that scenario 1 has literally played out since man organized and one person was given power over another right?

This is one case. Nobody should fear the police, that's a fear that is being instilled by the media. They've put a target on the backs of our law enforcement. This is one bad episode but it doesn't represent all police. I've been pulled over many times and even had assault rifles aimed at me in Shreveport back in 2005 (long story) but I never once feared for my life.

I understand their anger. But it's so undirected. Thier anger needs a leader. Some to direct them to where its needed. Burning down your cities business and residents isn't helping no one. Not yourself. Not your neighbor.

Someone. Anyone over there. Become thier bow. Direct them to where its needed. Thier mayors. Thier governors. Chief of police. Senators. Police Stations. But you also have to note that not all cops do that $hit. You need to keep the good ones. Remove them and replace them... please stop burning apartment buildings down....
