Didn’t know where to post this so it’s in chit chat.
I popped on my iPad and brought up YouTube and I found I was signed out of my account.
After signing in the page looked odd.
I checked my subscriptions list and it was blank.
Then looked at my saved videos and it’s blank.
History was also empty...
Any ideas on this one or am I just out of luck?
If YouTube was a person I would slap the crap out of it....
More seriously, perhaps they considered your account compromised and have removed access to its data from your logon (to prevent someone from
profiling you on your history, subscriptions, and other marketable or compromising content).
And as your YouTube logon relates to your Google account, they couldn't simply e-mail you just a new password, or password change request.

I left this afternoon and it was fine and when I got home this evening it had changed.
I signed in with my user name and password so it recognizes the account but all the stored information is missing.
I think I had this problem before. I don't remember what it was exactly but I think it had something to do with the adblocker I was using. I'm pretty
sure I switched to another ad blocker and the problem went away.
Oddly enough, the exact same thing happened to me the other day, and one of my favourite channels that I'm subscribed to was also showing no video or
info, it had me worried for a while, then out of nowhere it was all back to normal within fifteen minutes or so.
A glitch maybe? I'm not all that tech savvy so I really have no idea,
