It’s really difficult to determine what kind of impact social measures have had to reduce infection. One thing is for sure though, any time you give up a freedom, a right, time, money, or anything else of value to the government, you will never get it back. Decide carefully what you’re willing to give up because it will be permanent. If governments were wondering how long people would tolerate being confined, I think they have their answer.

thepoliticalinsider.com...

Now we have allowed Governors/Governments to change goalposts for liberty. It went from "not overwhelming the hospitals" to "until there is a cure or vaccine". Most Governors/Governments know that there may never be a cure or vaccine and yet they say "someday", with no timeline set that they will allow "their" subjects liberty. This is not just true in the US, it is also true in many European nations and countries around the world.

Has the US now given up our fundamental right to liberty?

Have European nations discovered they can freely take away all liberty of their citizens if they so wish to?

It is mostly (to the utter shame of the party) Democratic Party Governors who have taken firm anti-liberty and anti-humanitarian stances declaring they plan to keep their subjects at home until ....... has the US turned over the fundamental right to liberty to people who have proven that they will keep moving the goalpost for liberty indefinitely?

Have nations where politicians declared with finality they won't let their subjects out of their homes until...... and never give a date and keep changing the reason to allow liberty, forever given up any hope of freedom or liberty?

Important articles and recent research you need to know about to understand how oppressive and anti-humanitarian the new life is that we will be living in the future now that we have given away our right to leave our homes, our right to work, our right to be near any human who doesn't live in our household are below:

justthenews.com... (US university study shows that 60% of the population may have had immunity to the virus before it arrived on US shores)

www.israelnationalnews.com... (CDC study shows adjusted mortality rate for COVID 19 after antibody studies is actually around 0.26%)

wellbeingtrust.org... (It is projected that 75,000 US citizens will die of the unintended consequences of stay at home orders)

www.washingtonexaminer.com... (In the last 4 weeks more people died of isolation caused suicide than died from COVID 19 in California alone)

www.washingtonpost.com... y.html (81% Canada’s COVID deaths happened in nursing homes) www.breitbart.com... (68% of all deaths in nursing homes) www.nbclosangeles.com... (50% of deaths in LA county were in nursing homes) www.washingtonpost.com... (50%+ of all deaths in Europe nursing home related)

This is why we have freely given up life, stay at home is not life, it is a soul sucking existence of breathing worthlessness and hopelessness.

This is why we have freely given up liberty, stay at home extended beyond it's initial purpose is a socialist/communist form of oppression.

This is why we the people of the world, have freely given up the pursuit of happiness, with no one allowed to pursue happiness outside the 4 walls of their government imposed "prisons".

Chinese citizens have already given up all of these freedoms to their nation, how long before the rest of the world joins China in being so consumed with the state and the collective, that individuals are treated as so much chattle to be manipulated and oppressed at the whim of the uber wealthy, elite political class.

Really?

We have just given up and lost every single fundamental right that exists in the USA, and many that once existed in European and other nations as well.

Prove me wrong, especially when it comes to states where "Governors" like Beshear, Whitmer, Newsom, and Wolf have shown us what it is to be subjects under socialist/communist style dictatorships.

You can still go outside. Hang out with a friend. You just can't have big gatherings. And many places are opening up.

I understand some of your points but this isn't going to last forever, and you can still find happiness. It's not the end of the world.

subjects under socialist/communist style dictatorships.

Another exaggeration. I doubt anyone who lived under real socialist/communist dictatorships would ever compare it to the most strict state in the u.s.

You're sort of raking the meaning out of these words when you label everything in extremes. Like calling right wingers nazi's.

People like you are part of the problem, 'It wasn't too bad', 'it's only temporary', 'I can still do some stuff'.

If those Governers are elected by the people it hard to have symphaty.

First step to a solution would be dont vote them into office.

Well, go ahead and complain and write your senators. I just think it's silly to act like it's north korea or communist china.

We can still vote and openly disagree with the actions of governors. You can't do that in a communist dictatorship.

The N.W.O./American.Democrat.Complex is resetting the Middle Class. Too much independent success for their taste.

They must get back the Iran Deal,
The Paris Climate Accords,
The foreign raping of the U.S. via trade agreements,
The U.S. demands that NATO Members pay a fair share,
American dependence on foreign oil must return,
Russian sanctions must end,
Wars must be perpetual as usual,
etc.

Makes the political/history experts wonder how all these people got "elected" and are acting in unison all-of-a-sudden ?

To Blueman: I agree with AugustusMasonicus : People like you are part of the problem, 'It wasn't too bad', 'it's only temporary', 'I can still do some stuff'.

That is the problem. I can still do some stuff - is giving up your rights.

Thanks for the great example of the absolute pathetic state to which our citizens have fallen when it comes to thinking freedom and liberty are important.

I agree fully but what are we to do about it? The vast majority of people feel they are doing the right thing by the medical system and the vulnerable by staying home and obeying. Those people feel it is their community duty to protect others and the governments are playing on those very sentiments that make us human. I have never felt so lost as now. I am not lacking compassion, despite having a skeptical nature, and reluctantly agreed to begin with... the medical system asking for help is not unreasonable but now with no end in sight and a vaccine that might as well be a carrot in front of a donkey... What do we do about it?

No it is the Democrats who are the ones who are doing the oppressing currently and quite openly to their great shame, and to the great shame of the entire nation and those who elected them.

On this day where we remember those who gave their lives so we could enjoy the freedoms expressed in the Constitution and Bill of Rights, I want to thank our current political leadership for granting me permission to go outside as long as I am not in a group.

Exactly. Watch how fast those governors open up the state if a majority of the people are complaining and unhappy.

Funny how you guys never put any of the blame on the people actually running the country right now.

That in itself shows you’re just government lapdogs that are following the tired old two party game you’ve been fed your entire lives. Until you can break from that, all you’re doing is perpetuating the very thing you accuse everyone else of.

And I doubt most of you even care.

Or that was the NWO's plan. Create division. Make the left and right hate each other. Call each other the deep state. And therefore they both render themselves incapable of working together and accomplishing anything.

Just like how trump keeps claiming he's going to drain the swamp. All a political show.

What people all around the nation are doing today - protesting.

Then vote out every single politician, regardless of party who past the initial stay at home order that slow down the virus, has extended, extended, extended and enacted life ending policies that caused horrific humanitarian consequences. Especially those who now know that the anti-liberty policies are most likely causing more deaths than COVID 19.

VOTE OUT YOUR OPPRESSOR!!

VOTE OUT OF OFFICE THE GOVERNOR WHO IS OPPRESSING YOU AND WILL NOT STOP!

Keep protesting and protesting and defying their anti-humanitarian orders until you have liberty restored.

Unless you are convinced by the media and elite politicians that you WILL die if you step outside your home and defy their orders. That you WILL die of COVID 19 if you disobey them. With what the CDC now says is a 0.26% fatality rate and over 50% of them are already on deaths door in nursing homes etc, making the REAL fatality rate for healthy people 0.13% or less. This is the power they hold over you to get you to happily give away your liberty and your soul.

Well, unless you are willing to have an ebola patient leave the hospital and wander through your local grocery store, you have to acknowledge that someone, some govt agency, has the power to temporarily take his right to move freely and confine him to his hospital bed...
I dont know if shutting down the whole country was a good idea or not... time will tell and I have a feeling that time will tell us it really wasnt necessary.
But what you claim as being an infraction of your rights would have to be true in all situations it seems. Weather it be in a national level, or a more local level, or just confining people within a building or plane, or just one person.. and, it hasn't ever been accepted as being true. The govt has always had the power to step in to control a contagious disease.
The question is weather or not the govt has abused its power in this instance, was it really necessary to shut down the whole country, and would it have been less necessary if the govt hadn't dropped so many balls throughout the ordeal..
Oh, ya, and weather so many will continue to reject those balls now that they are trying to get them in place so we can open with some level of safety or are they gonna continue to scream for their rights...

Write? It's past that point. They need to be dragged through the streets by citizens who have had enough of tyrants.
