I tend to be a bottom line kind of person who cares for results more than catch all phases that are just empty words said for a sound bite moment during some MSN broadcast. Policies and results IMO should be everyone's bottom line when considering who they will vote for come November.

I am not a Trump lover as I can not stand to listen to him and his over inflated New York mannerisms for very long but.... I respect the hell out of him for what he has tried to do for American companies and the working folk. At every turn the Socialist media and the Democrats have tried to sabotage his efforts at steering the ship of state away from the NWO rocks it was headed upon by past administrations. Obama saying Trump can't fix the economy unless he has a magic wan has got to be an all time wrong statement IMO but, you might have to agree under Obama's/Democratic/socialist/ policies it would have taken a magic wan and maybe even some sort of alien interference to stop the whole country from turning into a San Francisco, Los Angeles, Portland, and other democratic strong holds with open borders and sanctuary status for anyone who can get here...

I am split or have my doubts when thinking Biden will even make it until November as he is mentally questionable and is also carrying allot of political and possibly criminal baggage that I expect will be exposed the closer the election nears.. The big question for me is what kind of shenanigans the democratic party will try to pull to secure an election and which female Biden will choose for his V.P. ? Most of the Democratic women during the Primaries were TO FAR OFF the deep end to even be considered as a viable option unless Tulsi Gabbard was some how the V.P choice; at least she seemed almost normal.. therefore I doubt she will get the nomination..

To keep the excitement quotient up I expect the same polling methods and companies who said Clinton was a 95% sure bet to be the country's new POTUS in 2016 will be turning out similar numbers for Biden or who ever they make their last minute nominee. If Biden wins I expect him to be replaced by the V.P. within a year if not sooner unless they pull something like they did with Regan the last few months of his presidency when he was protected by Nancy and others as he was fading fast. Just some political thoughts on my part.. Now for someone else's thoughts...

President Trump has long fought for American jobs and against China. President Trump confronted China about its unfair trade practices and negotiated Phase One of a trade deal that enormously benefits American workers and farmers. He is fighting to bring back American manufacturing jobs, both prior to the pandemic and as we emerge. The president also correctly recognized the threat posed by COVID-19 and halted travel from China. Dr. Anthony Fauci and Dr. Deborah Birx praised him for strong, early leadership that they credited with saving lives.

In comparison, Joe Biden’s record on China is so weak he makes Neville Chamberlain look tough.

In 2000, Biden downplayed China posing a threat to the U.S. economy and manufacturing, ignorantly comparing China’s economy to that of the Netherlands.
Biden was a champion of China’s entry into the World Trade Organization, which contributed to the loss of 60,000 American factories.
Last year, Biden said China was “not competition for us.”
Joe Biden served as the top cheerleader for the horrible Trans-Pacific Partnership trade deal, which labor unions correctly opposed because it would have further harmed U.S. manufacturing to the benefit of the Chinese.
Let us also remember that only days after returning from China on Air Force Two with his father, Hunter Biden received a $1.5 billion investment in a private equity firm from a Chinese bank controlled by its communist government.
And, who could forget that while President Trump was halting travel from China due to the virus, Joe Biden called it “xenophobic” and “racist.”

It’s no wonder that former Obama Secretary of Defense Robert Gates, a colleague of Biden in the White House, wrote that Biden has "been wrong on nearly every major foreign policy and national security issue over the past four decades."

The latest push by the Trump administration is to get critical infrastructure manufacturing back in house so we do not have to depend on China and other countries to provide us with medical supplies, drugs, and equipment.. Duh how we ever allowed that to happen in the first place was due to inattention and piss poor government policies and regulations IMO.

For me it comes down to this;

Biden will raise my taxes. He will ease border sucurity. He will grow the size and scope of government. He will re-enter the Paris Accords, he will bring in The Green New Deal. He will place even more limits on the 2nd Amendment. He will usher in socialized medicine. He will raise minimum wages which will raise unemployment.

Trump won't do any of that.

*shrugs*

The choice is simple.

If you remove all the minutia, the drama, the personalities, the contrived issues, this is what it boils down to.

Is Trump a dreamboat?

Hell no.

But our choices are voting for Biden or Trump.

Or not voting at all.

Frankly, the way the House democrats have been acting, I'd be surprized of anyone voting for any democrat. But we have people that want bigger government.

Ultimately, we'll get the government the majority of people deserve.

What that will look like is anyone's guess.

The bottom line for me is.

After the last 4 years having seen a bunch of lying, theiving, cutthroat hacks do everything they can possibly think of to destroy a presidential candidate before he was ever elected, and really put in the ole college try on the most corrupt actions imaginable after.

No one with an ounce of intellectual honesty would be voting for Biden or anyone else in his party next election.

I begrudingly voted for Trump first go round, next time he's earned it. Bigly time.

There's plenty that (I think) Trump has done wrong. Closing down the country, signing bills that increased spending.

He should not and will not be immune to criticism, but so far, he's still better than anything else.

Please explain what else should have been done in the face of a pandemic that will soon have killed 100,000 Americans and which will kill thousands more.
The pandemic should not be a political issue. This is imbecilic. It's out there, it's spreading, it's killing people.

The truth is, It will not matter as both parties are owned by the same big donors. The Democrats vote to pass nearly every Republican bill, no matter how bad it is for the American people.

My concern is not only Biden, as I believe he is deteriorating quickly mentally, but his vice president.

I actually know Klobuchar and her father, they are good people from MN. But raving Demos. My biggest fear is Hillary.

Trump has made himself so unlikable that many may not vote for him based on his accomplishments.

The virus is stupidly being blamed on him.

Trump really has an uphill battle at 40%.

Unfortunately, we may become a nanny state even more than Roosevelt could have imagined if the Demos win.

With all that is going on in Ukraine and Biden gets the democratic nomination... Shakes head...

Being the land of the free an ye all... I don't know. If some how the democrats steal the election don't expect Biden to be there long. If a fair vote is made Trump is looking good for another round. I expect most of us know things ain't that simple and prepare for a lot of crying and wining from both sides.

I disagree. The republican base learned the last election that they absolutely have to vote republican no matter what, and not stay at home. Had they stayed home, the supreme court would now be liberal. The next 4 years, there will be another seat on the supreme court. If not 2 will come open. This gives the republicans the opportunity to swing the court farther right. On top of that, Trump can continue to dismantle the democrats in the lower courts, eliminating liberal prejudice there. Further, after what the dems did with kavenough(SP), and trump, and what they are not doing with biden, it just further moves the center right. On top of that, we are in a depression (Actually recession, but next quarter it will change) This was brought about by democrat governors. I see local elections swinging republican. I see the courts swinging republican, and I see Trump getting another 4 years. Florida, Penn, VA, Michigan will all swing republican. Hell even california could at this point. Keep in mind, Illegal immigrants want to work. They don't like the like downs any more than citizens do. Can't work, cant send money home and your kids starve. They need the economy jugging just like the rest of us. The supreme court will strike down the mail in voting, and on top of that and the new power in the house, and senate the republicans will gather, they will bring manufacturing back to the USA. This will line up Trumps successor for the next 4 years. Imagine TV's and electronics being made in michigan, nevada, and arizona (Rare earth in Nevada and Arizona, established manufacturing in Michigan) Medical in WV, Tenn, Kentucky, California, VA. Textile in NY and California. Pa with its Steel. The reality is Globalism has been an abject failure for the USA. The american people have seen their standard of living drop, while wages haven't kept pace. We are going to swing back right for the next 20 years or so, eventually we will swing left again, but nationalism will be restore for a while. Especially if Republicans can get an increase in the standard of living.

You have more confidence than I do for the republicans to pull this out. Not what I am hearing and reading here in Florida.

I hope you are right. Just, still not convinced. Many factors between now and November.

And, why aren't we calling out Biden and his son, Pelosi and the rest for accepting bribes? Probably because D or R, they are all taking money.

If people don't congregate in public spaces the chances of them catching the virus is lessened. Come on, surely you don't need that explained to you, it's common sense surely?
Once again - this should not be a political matter. It's a public health matter.

Neither , they are both unsuitable for the job.

The choice offered shows how America is being failed by its political class , a choice between dumb and dumber is no choice at all.
It's almost like the Dems don't want to win this time round.

most old people in florida are republican, they will vote republican. Florida has a consumer based economy, which is shot down right now. The economy needs to open, which dems are against, and republicans are for. All the people not working right now, that need to work are going to vote republican. all the people that make more on unemployment right now will lose that when the dem opens the state back up. So they either go back or lose their job. This will hurt the dems who are in control from that block, which means those people will either stay home, or vote dem in the hopes of getting more free money. There is no free money to be had though unless the republicans agree, which they won't which means the dems will be the face of the failure both in the lock down, and not getting more funding. (People will stay home) I see the immigrants swinging republican this time around. Yes the media for the most part is dem, and they are spinning a different story, but I see trump winning hands down. Keep in mind, I don't like the man, but the left are just crazy at this point.
