I didn't vote for her.
Geographically, most of the state did not vote for her.
She won due to democratic urban areas.

Strangely, the people who voted for her actually are getting hit the worst by this virus.

Square miles doesn't count...Maybe the big cities might think twice about an over reaching Goverment, but then there might be enough that are truly enjoying the gains from all this and so want it to keep going.

Michigan is much like the country.
Most of our counties are conservative.
The urban areas would vote for any loser as long as he wore a "D".....they obviously did last governor's election.
It didn't help that the "R" didn't run a very strong candidate.

We've had this discussion before.
Right?

Through this whole "plandemic" I have worked. Working on elevators. Working in nursing homes and hospitals. Working in hotels and power plants. From downtown Louisville Kentucky to bum # Egypt in Kentucky and Indiana.

I never wore a mask unless required to to enter a nursing home or hospital.

Guess what, me and my wife are fine.

All hospitals have been empty, testing sites have been empty .

This whole thing is fake. They build emergency hospitals in areas , only to take them back down.

So , I do not blame the residents of Michigan . Time is up and time to move forward .

That is the truth.
The handouts won't last forever.
One wonders what will happen then.

Like who? People on unemployment that make less than 40k a year are enjoying it. I'm sure unions and civil/government type jobs are not feeling much pain. It's the private sector that is feeling the worst, so is that who voted her in?

I hate to see what is happening to Michigan. When I was a kid we lived in Algonac for a year or so, right next to the St. Clair river. I loved watching the ice breaker go down the river every morning in the winter time and being able to ride in the car right out onto Lake Huron. Built my first snowman and rode my first sled there. Just makes me sad to see the state go to Hell in a handbasket because one woman has a case of the big head!

According to the Michigan news the shutdown polls well

63.7% approve of Gov. Whitmer’s handling of the pandemic

Looks like she is real popular.

What? This is all upside down.

So you are telling me, that on an American state level, you don't have an "Electoral college" Thingy? That would balance things out, it seems to work on presidential elections, but is not used in governor elections right?

Every election is the popular vote, except for one... the one that is over all states, but each state has their say... Just like the EU as none of the Presidents are a popular vote.

They trashed their own water. Water is very simple for 49 other states. Fix that first. Thinking they can fix anything beyond water is a pipe dream. They will absolutely fvck up everything else.

Gotta wonder who they polled LOL
No one I see or talk to thinks much of her and her power trip.

Well, maybe except for the people who drive alone with masks and gloves.

Wolf was even pushing for restaurants to have "Cocktail-to-go" so bars and business could get revenue.... look our local wpxi.com was VERY EXCITED to the point they not so safely for work put in HD last night..

NOT ONE OF THOSE LEO'S IS WEARING A MASK THAT WILL PROTECT THEM.

The guy being arrested looks to have an N95 compliant mask.

Yes polls seem interesting these days. Whitner is well loved and Biden is going to win by a landslide. Maybe you and I are out of touch with reality.
