Dems and their cohorts on MSM, continually blast Trump and the Republicans for their so-called misleading claims that mail-in ballots are often fraudulent. Dems get upset when the Right accuses them of being cheaters, who might tamper with votes that are mailed in.

Trump’s case against mail-in voting has become increasingly desperate. His latest briefing showed it. Pressed to produce evidence of fraud, Trump cited a “pants on fire” lie.

Trump pushes false claims about mail-in vote fraud. Election officials in mail voting states say they don't have problems with fraud.

U.S. Attorney William M. McSwain Announces Charges and Guilty Plea of Former Philadelphia Judge of Elections Who Committed Election Fraud

Domenick J. DeMuro, 73, of Philadelphia, PA, a former Judge of Elections for the 39th Ward, 36th Division in South Philadelphia, has been charged and has pled guilty to a two-count Information charging (1) conspiracy to deprive Philadelphia voters of their civil rights by fraudulently stuffing the ballot boxes for specific Democratic candidates in the 2014, 2015, and 2016 primary elections, and (2) a violation of the Travel Act, which forbids the use of any facility in interstate commerce (here, a cell phone) with the intent to promote certain illegal activity (here, bribery).

DeMuro received between $300 to $5,000 per election from the political consultant under the guise of “consulting fees” in exchange for adding fraudulent votes on the voting machines — also known as “ringing up” votes.

“DeMuro fraudulently stuffed the ballot box by literally standing in a voting booth and voting over and over, as fast as he could, while he thought the coast was clear. This is utterly reprehensible conduct. The charges announced today do not erase what he did, but they do ensure that he is held to account for those actions,” said U.S. Attorney McSwain.

1071 PROVEN INSTANCES OF VOTER FRAUD. The United States has a long and unfortunate history of election fraud. The Heritage Foundation is providing a list of election fraud cases from across the country, broken down by state, where individuals were either convicted of vote fraud, or where a judge overturned the results of an election. This is not an exhaustive list but simply a sampling that demonstrates the many different ways in which fraud is committed. Preventing, deterring, and prosecuting such fraud is essential to protecting the integrity of our voting process.

The fact is, if it happened in the past, it will surely happen again in 2020. Like someone commented in one of the linked articles above, "How many more are out there that will never be caught?"

That's mostly like because states don't have to deal with 330 million ballots at one time.

A national election by mail would be a disaster.

WTF does your story have to do with mail-in voting applications? This guy literally stood in a voting booth and voted repeatedly. You're trying to compare apples with aardvarks.

We ran Iraq's election better than our own. We fingerprinted everyone. No reason why a mail in ballot can't have a small fingerprint kit. The ability to commit fraud at that point drops off a cliff.

The point though is he got caught. If he's filling out paper ballots at the house it gets a lot harder to detect.

How hard is to scan and print multiple ballots and mail them back in?

Like everyone has a scanner/printer thesedays.

I'm more worried about bags of votes from rural or conservative areas being "delayed" or "lost" and never being counted.

You mail your vote in, how do you know it ever made it anywhere and was processed?

How would that work? Where would these no good doers get stacks of ballots, steal people's mail?

You don't.

The same way thousands of ballots disappeared during the democratic primaries.

Elections are a joke. Representatives are a joke. Our system is a joke.
Maybe it's time to expand our ability for instant cat picture posting into something a little more important like picking the direction our kids lives can go.
Privately monitored servers per electoral college with verified voting and jury duty type help would be a start.
We can't keep doing this fake representation bs by this sold out, well-poisoning, rights and money stealing lord class.
The internet for surveillance, not choice. Eff that noise.
Mail in communism?
No.

I think he is suggesting that people are willing to go to great lengths to do voter fraud if given the opportunity to do so as was in this case. The big question is if we went full mail-in votes is there the same possibility to do this type of fraud but at the federal level?

Or go all professional and just print real ones, money isn't really the limitation here.

So voter turnout is about 60% that opens up about 40% of people who do not vote who someone can "vote for them". If money/time wasn't an issue that is a lot of box stuffing possibilities and you would only need to do this in designated swing states where the differences are small, and that could easily swing an election.

How are those people going to know those people aren't going to mail in their ballots? How are they going to get ahold of the ballot and it's preprinted return envelope?

I think you do not read all posts... I already said a few posts up they can professionally print their own, in today's world you can print anything, so are they putting laser holograms on these or just your normal paper, I would bet just paper...easy job printing up 100,000.

Now for you next answer... Whom you vote for is private, but whether you voted or not and what your affiliation may be is not private. All a group would need to do is build a data base on who hasn't voted in the past and make ballots for them and mail them in.

This is talking about apps people can use to get this information...

Whom Americans vote for is private. But other information in their state voter files is public information; depending on the state, it can include details like their name, address, phone number and party affiliation and when they voted.

It doesn't have anything to do with mail-in ballots.

It doesn't have anything to do with voter fraud.

It has everything to do with fronting for the narrative that States don't have the right to regulate how their citizens vote.

It also has a lot to do with fallcious thinking, tunnel vision, and pure-ass snark.

IMO

Not hardly.

The usual suspects do not push anything, ANYTHING that benefits us.

They DON'T.

Mail in voting benefits them.

Why is that ?

Mail in voting would probably benefit Republican candidates more than anyone else.

Further than that, it's a matter for each State to decide, not you for me or me for you.

Nope.

If it benefited R's they wouldn't be pushing it and demagoguing Trump for not wanting it.

Opinions differ.

I'd like to see as many Americans as possible having their voices heard through their votes.

I don't care how we do it, and as long as it's fair, I don't care who wins.

The red and blue boys and girls are all psychopaths in my book.
