I am aware of that... but the press pool would still be at least advised to take the preventive medicine and you know it.

I just wondered about this bit:

and could be required due to their close interactions with the President and staff.

In review, The Gateway Pundit demonstrates extreme right wing bias in story selection that always favors the right and denigrates the left.

There is significant use of loaded emotional language in headlines such as this: President Trump RIPS INTO Peter Strzok After He’s Fired – Calls For Hillary ‘Sham Investigation’ to be ‘Properly Redone’.

The Gateway Pundit is also fiercely dedicated to the promotion of Donald Trump.

TGP always sources their information, but sometimes utilizes questionable sources such as Breitbart and Mike Cernovich, who both a have terrible track records with fact checkers.

The Gateway Pundit has published numerous false or conspiracy stories such as Hillary Clinton having a seizure, identifying an innocent person in the Las Vegas mass shooting and again identifying the wrong person after the motor vehicle homicide at the White Supremacist rally in Charlottesville, Virginia. Further, TGP claimed the “FBI received tips well in advance of the Florida school shooting and decided, for whatever reason, not to act.” Finally, based on publishing false information, TGP has faced lawsuits for defamation and damages to innocent individuals.

A factual search reveals several failed fact checks by IFCN fact checkers. Here are a select few out of dozens.

Anti-Trump Protesters Bused Into Austin, Chicago – FALSE
Did a Woman Say the Washington Post Offered Her $1,000 to Accuse Roy Moore of Sexual Abuse? – FALSE
‘Spooked’ Clinton Campaign Manager Deleted Tweets – FALSE
Fake news posts blame Puerto Rico’s truck drivers for refusing to ship relief supplies – PANTS ON FIRE
Did the World Health Organization’s director-general overstate the COVID-19 fatality rate when he said that it was many times that of the seasonal flu? – FALSE
Overall, we rate The Gateway Pundit Questionable based on extreme right wing bias, promotion of conspiracies and numerous instances of publishing false (fake) news. (10/4/2016) Updated (D. Van Zandt 3/19/2020)

the president of the Italian Rheumatology Society was contacted directly and states that this number is completely wrong, that the society is monitoring 150 patients in its registry, 20 of whom are taking hydroxychloroquine.

You’re an obtuse idiot. The POTUS travel schedule while meticulously planned is still also an unknown entity, tomorrow something could pop which could require travel to an area with a malaria outbreak. Afghanistan is one of those areas and every President has recently traveled there in what could be called surprise trips.

For the drug to be effective the regiment is started before the travel and continued after travel to a potential area with an outbreak. Did he say he just started taking it ? No... I don’t believe he even mentioned specifically why he was taking it but it certainly makes sense that a POTUS would be taking a malaria preventive as their travel does involve areas known to be problematic malaria areas.

Again please consult a physician for your serious TDS affliction as it does seem to be causing cognitive issues.

Use: For the prophylaxis of malaria in geographic areas where chloroquine resistance is not reported
www.drugs.com...

Chloroquine resistance is well established in India. Instead, Atovaquone-proguanil, doxycycline, mefloquine, or tafenoquine are indicated.

Apparently you missed the part about the press pool travels to the same areas as the POTUS, the same area that could expose them to malaria. Not that it could be transmitted to the POTUS or vice versa but surely the press doesn’t want malaria and would also take the same preventative as POTUS. It wasn’t that hard to figure out or is TDS contagious?

From the CDC , the same organization that screwed the pooch on this whole debacle. The POTUS also traveled to Afghanistan where the drug is still effective

Depending on altitude. As I stated in my first post I was prescribed the drug hydroxy chloroquine for malaria prevention during deployment. That term chloroquine has also become a generalization of malaria medication even though it is incorrect. The administration would also depend on time of season and not just altitude

Depending on altitude.

Yes. Because malaria does not occur at higher elevations (above 8,000 feet).

So it seems that there is not much reason to think that Trump was prescribed hydroxychloroquine on his trip. Probably one of the other treatments though. Unless you think they would prescribe something that may be less effective against resistant malaria?

As I stated in my first post I was prescribed the drug hydroxy chloroquine for malaria prevention during deployment.
How long ago was that?

Ok, nobody is saying it’s impossible to get it when on hcq

Many people are saying it could be, and that it's a verifiable prophylactic.

Even when it has not been clinically verified as such and the majority of the medical community recommends against taking it.

Studies take time, unlike anecdotes.

What's the anecdotes though,
the thing is hydroxychloroquine it seems is a pretty complex regime, or perhaps whatever it contains in the various intellectual properties contained therein.
Dysgeusia, also known as parageusia, is a distortion of the sense of taste. Dysgeusia is also often associated with Ageusia, which is the complete lack of taste, and Hypogeusia, which is a decrease in taste sensitivity,

That's something that has been reported as being an affect in those who are COVID-19 symptomatic as well as other effects???

Common side effects of Plaquenil include,

nausea,
vomiting,
stomach pain or cramps,
loss of appetite,
weight loss,
diarrhea,
dizziness,
spinning sensation,
headache,
ringing in your ears,
mood changes,
nervousness,
irritability,
skin rash,
itching, or
hair loss.
Tell your doctor if you experience serious side effects of Plaquenil including

uncontrolled movement,
loss of balance or coordination,
blurred vision,
light sensitivity,
seeing halos around lights,
pale skin,

confusion,
unusual thoughts or behavior, or
seizures (convulsions).
Dosage for Plaquenil
The adult dose of Plaquenil to suppress malaria is 400 mg on the same day each week. The pediatric weekly suppressive dosage is 5 mg/kg of body weight. The adult dose of Plaquenil to treat an acute attack of malaria is an initial dose of 800 mg followed by 400 mg in six to eight hours and 400 mg for two more days. To treat lupus erythematosus, the average adult dose is 400 mg once or twice daily.
Plaqueni, is discontinued.
What Drugs, Substances, or Supplements Interact with Plaquenil?
Plaquenil may interact with acetaminophen, cancer medications, tuberculosis medications, birth control pills or hormone replacement therapy, arthritis medications, ACE inhibitors, antibiotics, antifungals, cholesterol medications, HIV/AIDS medications, NSAIDs (non-steroidal anti-inflammatory drugs), or seizure medications.

What seems remarkable though is the observed symptoms of COVID-19 and those who have used Hydroxychloroquine, and many it's after effects.

The POTUS could potentially travel to areas that it would be prescribed as an effective preventative. My reasoning was simply it could be an explanation of why he was prescribed the drug. Malaria unfortunately is spreading to higher altitudes quite possibly due to global warming. Much easier to control but the highlands in many areas where it was never considered a risk are now accounting for many new cases each year, especially in warmer conditions than normal.

"The risk of the disease decreases with altitude and this is why historically people have settled in these higher regions." But the scientists say the disease is entering new regions that had previously been malaria-free.

www.bbc.com...

And my deployments did occur in 09-10 and 10-11 and yes the treatment could have changed. Still could be the POTUS is prescribed chloroquine as a treatment for travels to other areas where it is still effective. Just an observation on my part, and since there are other off label uses such as Rheumatoid arthritis, an affliction while undisclosed would not be uncommon in a man his age.

In most African countries, chloroquine remains in 2000 the only drug recommended by health authorities for the first-line treatment of uncomplicated malaria. Quinine is recommended for the treatment of severe and complicated malaria, and other drugs are rarely available in public health structures,

Apparently in much of Africa which is where the majority of malaria cases occur. It is essentially a cheap and safe drug and even in countries where resistance to the chloroquine treatments it is still used as it is considered much safer than many of the other alternatives available.

It seems there are different forms of infection a complicated and uncomplicated infection. Despite resistance it is still the go to form of treatment and is considered an effective treatment even in resistant areas along with aspirin to help control fever. While cost would not be a consideration for POTUS, known side affects associated with other treatments, availability, cost, and the personal administration is why it is still widely used.

www.ncbi.nlm.nih.gov...

Sadly, the recommendations of switching to other chemotherapy treatments for malaria resistant areas is being ignored and still the number one recommended treatment. It is again cheap and widely distributed with many using it as treatment for any fever related illness, much like we use aspirin in our households. Perhaps through programs meant to help have now harmed future generations by over distribution of chloroquine

So you think that he would have not taken CDC advice for his trip, and used a less effective treatment. That makes a ton of sense.

Why on Earth are you so invested in trying to show that Trump has taken hydroxychloroquine previously? What the hell difference does it make? He told us why he's taking it now.

Why is there this uncontrollable insistence on complicating a simple issue?

It is a reaction bourne of a fear of entering into cognizant dissonance...conspiracy theorists and fringe thinkers develop a 7th sense when it comes to their own little bubble being pushed around or god forbid popped without their permission......they all believe nothing could catch them off guard.

Its to late to deny or refuse to aknowledge this....covid is a simple Pleomorphic Bacteria we can easily kill and take global preventative measures against that will render it powerless beyond giving us a simple cold as usual..

For gods sakes there is no such thing as a virus as it is presented to us...it a lie... a series of tactical weaponised misrepresentations.

I think its important for everyone to understand what cognizant dissonance does to an academic mind or one that prefers to think of itself that way...as many here do....as they say the bigger they are the harder they fall.

Plemorphic Bacteria living in viral contaminate capsule size in our bloodstream.....Learn it because from now on we will all finally learn the truth about it and that we HAVE ALREADY ALL BEEN LIVING WITH IT.... in our belly known as bad gut bacteria.

What? No zinc?

Whether or not Zinc is needed, and to what extent, would depend on their current zinc levels.

If they have adequate levels, then the HCQ would help drive it into the cells.

Or maybe they were already supplementing.

Everyone is different, and doesn't necessarily fit the same into one of your gold plated randomized placebo controlled crap-studies.

Try this approach....if you wish to discuss the zinc....where did the original zinc go to?...this is the clear and obvious starting point. If you don't add more zinc...what happens? If you do add more zinc does the body keep its levels normal ?...Do you have to add more?....is zinc like oil in your car or is it like Gasoline is it a preventative lubricant or is it a fuel?....and when you decide that ask yourself what is using it as such?(hint-hint----Pleomorphic Bacteria)

See how easy it can be if you want to really get to the truth of the matter.

Pleomorphic Bacteria have a Lipid Fat Coating that shows us is can be easier to compromise it if we find a naturally attracted binder to slip through that wall instead of blasting through it or even to get it to DRAW IT IN BY ITSELF....fat binds to fat....litte bits of fat are DRAWN to larger bits of fat....not pushed away by them.Think about how liposomal carriers work.
