Over 100 Million in China’s Northeast Face Renewed Lockdown

This is not good news but it is not as bad as the title might have you to believe. Looks like China is not going to get caught with its' pants down again with another COVID outbreak so they are taking some serious measures to head off the virus.

Health officials do not yet know how the new cluster started, but suspect that the patients may have come into contact with infected returnees from Russia, which has one of the worst outbreaks in Europe.

Some 108 million people in China’s northeast region are being plunged back under lockdown conditions as a new and growing cluster of infections causes a backslide in the nation’s return to normal.

In an abrupt reversal of the re-opening taking place across the nation, cities in Jilin province have cut off trains and buses, shut schools and quarantined tens of thousands of people. The strict measures have dismayed many residents who had thought the worst of the nation’s epidemic was over.

Let us all hope that countries that are opening in incremental steps are not put back into lockdown as the virus starts to spread again.

While the cluster of 34 infections isn’t growing as quickly the outbreak in Wuhan which started the global pandemic last December, China’s swift and powerful reaction reflects its fear of a second wave after it curbed the virus’s spread at great economic and social cost. It’s also a sign of how fragile the re-opening process will be in China and elsewhere as even the slightest hint of a resurgence of infections could prompt a return to strict lockdown.

So things have not gotten as bad as the title claims but nevertheless China has jumped on this big time.

first (unlike last time) we have (unless some mutation goes really out of any rational way) a really good idea of what we are dealing with.

so we know what to expect and if we used COMMON FORNICATION SENSE can more than deal with it.

this is a VIRUS in a family of viruses that has existed for a really really long time.
it isnt gonna "go away" and to think it will is just laughable...
we to date still have the influenza family of viruses (aka the COMMON FLU) that has killed in US alone last year 61 plus thousand, 72 plus thousand year before that and the year before that over 82 thousand...
this is with vaccine (at best 40 percent effective with many years ZERO), "treatments" and mutations out the wazzo.

Not one person had died in US due to lack of hospital bed space, not having a ventilator (remember the cries we need more/we dont have enough), or that medical facilites would be overwhelmed (how many temp hospitals built, spaces reserved like McCormick center in IL, and medical ships went UNUSED OR NOT USED AT ALL) .

lets remind us THE FACTS ON CORVID19

1. death numbers have been INACCURATE and using it as cause of death fraudulent.
to include proof from CDC itself (if you suspect corvid / shows symptoms then say death (no confirmation needed) is by corvid19 and that in PA thousands of cause of death by corvid being CHANGED.

80 percent recover AKA SURVIVE with NO SYMPTOMS or so minimum not easily noticed

over 97 to 98 percent recover even if (unless numerous or very specific medical compromise/issues or just bad luck) medical compromised

99.8 or greater RECOVER/SURVIVE if healthy .

lastly

3. as more widespread testing is happening (not the only in hospital and has to be very sick) the mortality/fatality percentage is DROPPING.

along with a BONUS of getting EXACT DATA of who is most vulnerable and why, so we can do TARGETED protective measures.


In short we have more than enough proof that the models/claims of those claiming it was worse than the flu , we gonna a "massive second wave" and if we open things up there will be MILLIONS AND MILLIONS (more than 1) dead in the streets are pure bull quano

to be fair technically there will be a spike of "infected" as we HAVE MASS TESTING ON DEMAND vs only if hospital and very sick.
want to point that out before someone tries (as the gov of IL did ) to claim "MASS / INCREASE OF NEW CORVID CASES" as proof it is getting worse.

to those trying this they also try to then downplay the mortality rate dropping and deflect with "medical facilities will be overwhelmed"

look people the virus isnt going away, people are not gonna be able to stop being infected and yes people are gonna die...
but no more and at times much less than other potentially fatal pathogens , accidents , and other causes

Russia is in Europe?

Part of it is, particularly the major government administrative centres. It is multi-continental spanning from eastern europe across central and in to eastern Asia.

Surely that's not news to you?

In response to the topic at hand, I fear this is just the beginning and there will be waves of lockdowns....we're still two weeks away from winter beginning here in Australia, get used to it I think.

I wonder if they are being locked down over the virus OR the civil unrest the CCP is facing due to so many people being unemployed thus not having any income to buy food, pay rent, etc etc?

You know what? I did know that. I just have become so accustomed to thinking of it being in Asia that I had stopped thinking about it's massive size in relationship to Europe. So thanks for that Mr. LLiam.

The virus has muted 200 times already. If China is really locking down so many then maybe this is the real second wave we have all been dreading. Remember the Spanish flu killed over 200,000 in the first wave and 60-100 million in its second wave 6 months later

where did you get this ? because it seems highly unlikely given that they are already on clincial trials of a vaccine. If that were the truth it would mean the vaccine research is futile. Im afraid you need to back this up

ok first it IS NOT THE SPANISH FLU... in fact to compare it to it is foolish given a few (of many ) facts.

one.. it was killing the younger and very healthy . It seemed to not be as bad or targeted to the elderly and very young.

corvid19 is more deadly to the old , VERY YOUNG, and medically compromised.

two... the mortality rate is NO WHERE NEAR (given population and infected vs dead) the same as spanish flu

to remind you...

80 percent or greater HAVE NO OR SUCH MINOR SYMPTOMS they dont seek testing/medical treatment and LIVE.

overall 98 percent survive / live.. even if (with some exceptions) have medical conditions
99.8 or greater if healthy (and not unlucky, there are a few) survive/ live

I would suggest using HARD NUMBERS/FACTS and not the "models", panic reporting media and those supporting police state tactics

It's not China's 2nd wave....
China has renewed lock downs a dozen times already.
