I snapped this pic tonight with my Huawei P20.
I was going for a shot of the sun sinking on the horizon below the houses and trees. When out of nowhere something just flashed by as I took the pic.
It disappeared before I even focused on what actually happened.

ibb.co...

Ideas?

The sun reflecting on the lens of the camera.
Phage explains it here

Lemme guess. It's like just about all UFO pics: something explainable.

1. Lots of houses around you, did anyone else take pictures?

2. Any videos?

I assume your talking about the top right hand corner but what about the two smaller spots that appear on the left in the tree above the power lines. They are the same colour as your anomaly and appear to be in front of the tree and power lines. So are they far away anomaly’s or are they light reflecting on your lens.

A ceiling light reflected on the inside of your front window?

Or other lights inside the house, reflected in the front window.

The exposure time was 0.058 seconds. That's about 1/20 of a second. Makes sense because of the low light level. That's not a very quick exposure time. Doesn't seem to be much motion blur for something that "flashed by."

There is a rule about deliberately posting hoaxes. Sure hope you haven't done something like that.

There are a few objects in that image. There's the blob in the upper right portion that you are talking about, but then there are two rectangular lights a little left of center.

Those rectangular lights are in front of the tree branches, which makes me think that are reflections on the window through which the picture was taken (reflections from the room behind the camera).

That leads me to believe that the object you are talking about could also easily be another reflection of a light in the room behind you. It looks like a dome ceiling light.

National Chief Investigator for MUFON Canada here.
I took a look at your image, its 100% light reflection.

ETA: I'm referencing the light source in the upper right of the image.

Why? None of the threads exploring Al Qaeda have been put in the Hoax bin yet?
Something new, or just new to OP?

More interior light reflections?

Being a photographer, I often capture things I do not see, or miss something I wanted to capture because it happens to quickly! So I am a bit amazed you were able to capture something at just the right moment.

It looks like you have reflections either on your lens or on a indoor window. Are you new to photography? If not you really should know about Reflections of light on your lens

Are you referring to the orange cone or the reflection of the recessed ceiling light?

Skybandit meet Phage. Crushing deceptive posters into oblivion with the aid of science since 2008.

He is however very polite and considerate, I on the other hand am a complete ass.

Calling hoax, it’s obviously reflections on a window! You’ve been rumbled.
