I'm still waiting for the Bernie Bros to snap and go on a rampage. They have it in them, and they are plenty pissed. I'd venture a guess that conservatives would have to stand down and let them "blow off a little steam", as long as they keep it in house.

I don't know. I'm under the impression that the Bernie Bros just complain a lot.

People bring up the Hillary popular vote thing because more votes were cast for Hillary in LA than total votes cast in Wyoming in total. But what no one ever wants to talk about is whether or not those were legal votes that were counted...

Number of votes cast doesn’t always mean that many people actually voted. Kinda the point about the proposed “Mail In voting for 2020” argument in a nutshell. Ballot stuffing is far to easy to pull off. At least with “Phone in voting” caller ID might help on the one person, one vote front.

We’ve been talking about whether the votes cast for Clinton were legal or not for three years.

Do you have proof they weren’t? Where’s that proof? I’d really like to see it.

Hillary was going to win in a landslide. Who cares about polls. It no longer means anything. They know this and why they are pushing ballot harvesting.

They were always within about five points of each other.

Nice. Here's the link to your Reuters article ...

Is that comparing their relative positions in polling? (Which is what the person you responded to was doing?)

Nope.

I'll help. Your article was written on October 10, 2016. It says that "last week" so around October 3, 2016 is the date in question.

Polling on October 3, 2016 from YouGov.com

This is a summary of a YouGov/Economist Poll conducted October 1-3, 2016. The sample is 1300 general population respondents with a Margin of Error of ±3.7% (3.9% for 911 registered voters).
GENERAL ELECTION (among registered voters):

If the 2016 presidential election were being held today and the candidates were Hillary Clinton, the Democrat, Donald Trump, the Republican, Gary Johnson, the Libertarian, and Jill Stein, from the Green Party, who would you vote for?

Hillary Clinton: 43% (-1)
Donald Trump: 40% (-1)
Gary Johnson: 5% (0)
Jill Stein: 3% (+1)
Someone else: 2%
Not sure yet: 6%
Probably won't vote: 1%

Source

You're talking about a supposed margin of victory, I was talking about the polling numbers, as was the other member.

October 3, 2016 - Clinton Won Debate; Up In Florida, Down In Ohio, On Plus Side Of Close Races In North Carolina, Pennsylvania, Quinnipiac University Swing State Poll Finds

NORTH CAROLINA: Clinton 46 - Trump 43, Johnson 7
OHIO: Trump 47 - Clinton 42, Johnson 6

Quinnipiac Univesity Poll

As I said, the difference between the two was usually around 5 points.

Trump will get more votes.

Trump will even win the "popular vote" for what it's worth.

Trump will even win the Electoral College vote.

It doesn't matter. The left will cheat.

They've destroyed an entire economy of the United States JUST to HURT Trump.

Think about that for a second.

They have chopped off their hands and feet just to bleed on him!

Spoken like a true zealot.

Brings a tear to the eye to see such blind commitment.

As far as your request, let us know if any time-travelers take you up on it.

Zealot?
For pointing out simple facts that most people already know?
For choosing not to let the left dictate the Narrative this time around?
You know I am right, that's why you are butthurt.

... and you follow up by hitting 3/7 buzzwords.

Well done.

so your claiming he is using "buzzwords" to justify his point?

My only issue is that we who want Trump to win had better not be so sure of ourselves and full of hubris. That's why Hillary lost. This is not a done deal.

while I agree with you that "sure of ourselves / full of hubris" has been a downfall of many and should be avoided at all costs.
as long as you KEEP DOING WHAT YOUR DOING having confidence and showing it is not a bad thing.

but what you missed in hillory loss / trump win is that it was THE VOTER that elected him against all the attempts to stop him.

remember the democrats and liberals HATED HIM, the press despised him and both did EVERYTHING IN THEIR POWER (fair/unfair. legal/illegal, ethical and downright nasty) to stop him
hell even the establishment, leadership and rinos in the republican party either overtly or covertly tried to stop him.

thank God they didnt have "super delegates" at the convention.

we have to remember not to stop fighting, keep doing what hes doing, and most important IGNORE any negative press or comments like from griffon66.

when we try to be what we are not, when we try to "appease" those that hate you, and try to be "understanding to your critics" is when you loose.

The media should stick with reporting on events that have transpired rather than attempting to push propaganda or predicting things that haven't occurred yet.

Even though Trump is apparently taking experimental covid inhibitor, he could "accidentally" get the virus and become quite ill.

In that scenario, perhaps Pence would run in his place. His v-p choice could be someone young, a woman or both. That would help the cross-overs.

Biden is pretty much offensive to everyone except rabid demos. His v-p choice could be similar to the above.

That could even out the odds.

Then, it gets bloody.

Wish Trump could stop tweeting.

while I agree that maybe cut back on the tweets would normally be good advice I am remembering an old saying

if it works dont fix/change it.

trump is rough , can be anti pc and defiantly does not act or is a politician.

he can and does make mistakes (gasp).

but that is why he was elected, why he has been (inspite of what the press reports) effective (for the most part) and why he is hated by the left, main stream press, rinos and establishment types.

So honestly if it is working dont change it.

as seen by the republicans trying to change after regan, contract with america and going to be "more moderate/ big tent" and the FAILURE it caused.

Awww, thanks for that Ahab; I enjoy data.

So from the table in your source ... turnout in 2016 was 38.3 percent overall for Los Angeles County?

Dang. That's a bit under the 61.4% nationally that same year, as reporting by Census.gov.

Not very patriotic huh.

Why ask for data when you cannot read it?

38.3% is the 2020 Primary count which makes sense considering the Covid terrorism in California. But to compare it to Ohio, in person voting in the 2020 Primary was 0.0% due to dictatorship over Covid. Not an exaggeration the Governor did an end round a judge’s verdict by ordering the appointed (by the Governor) Health Director to cancel the Primary.
