If you want the press to constantly praise a leader then move to China or North Korea.

You mean how the media treated eight years of obama?

I don’t think Trump won it, Hilary lost it
That and all the celebrities who would live elsewhere if Trump won must have been enticing as well

Anyway, unless the Democrats come up with a decent candidate, Trump is a gimmie for 2020, cant see anyone heading the Democrats worth voting for or policy worth considering

The constant nonstop fire hosing of Trump hate . Is turning people away or forcing them into silence to avoid the stream of vile hateful attacks on anyone proud of their country and wanting it to succeed.

I find it amusing Trump supporters complaining about "vile hateful attacks" .

Really sad, but even “sadder”, watch flunky
@Lawrence CRY when I whipped his mind & he was FORCED to apologize to me over Apprentice fees. Even Psycho Cold Case Joe Scarborough (bad ratings) beat him up, on air, unmercifully. Find tapes & play (5 years back?).
twitter.com...

When the Donald is such a nice guy.

Real journalism is a rarity these days. What I don't like is that the media on the broadcast networks (nbc,CBS etc) which have to send their signal out for free, (I get 3 damn channels) get to say that what they are reporting is news. When in fact what they talk about is opinionated material.
Remember back in the day the news would get reported as it was? And later in the newscast they would have their opinionated pieces? But at least they told you when it was opinionated?

WTF ever happened to that? Now everything is put forth as fact. Obviously people should come to their own conclusions about what they see on TV and research it.
I don't need extra channels because I have the internet and can at least fact check when I have to watch those liberal bs stations. But what about those who can't? Or those that don't even know or to think of fact checking? The media counts on those people believing what they are told by the news as fact and unquestionable.

The left has done this with the elderly and minorities, and of course our education system doesn't teach our kids to question anything they see. Just simply to listen and obey (authoritarian dems have put this in place and have fought tooth and nail to keep it that way) and well.....there goes critical thinking.

They should report fact as fact and opinion as freaking opinion and state when they are having their opinionated segments

Now it's all mashed together with tons of actual fake news. It's all propaganda and most of the left is just fine with that. Think about that for a minute....they even will purposely fool their own to push ideology on everyone, but I am not surprised

Hate to be a fossil, but the newspapers have had this right for years.

They have an opinion page.

The rest is news because the presumption is that it is true, factual, verified.

If an outlet publishes news that is demonstrably (legally) false they should be held accountable for 1) libel (damaging to an individual entity) and/or 2) fraud (damaging to the public interest).

Freedom of the press specifically does not protect libel and fraud.

The problem is, all too often, that the person claiming "fake news" knows that the matter would NEVER be sustained in court as libelous or false.

The problem here is that the zealots of one "side" cannot stop demonizing the other "side. "

I don't disagree with 90% of the statements about the mainstream media that are factual; what I disagree with is the blatant, lying misrepresentations that most of so-called media designated as "right-wing" regularly provides. Recently I described this as the difference between plausible lies and outright, blatant, mind-numbing dishonesty.

Shall we focus on the truth? On verifiable facts? Or continue to play the ancient game wielded by the elites: dividas et impera.

They MADE me vote for Trump this time because it would be unfair not to.

I'm sure that his actual voter base didn't go away, is sick and tired of being demeaned, demonized and made fun of as well.

LOL, this is really it. I defend him, not because he is infallible, not because I condone everything he does, but because he is being unfairly attacked. If he was treated like most other presidents, I'm not even sure I would be a supporter full time. I have some issues with some things he does, but not enough to hate him and wish failure on him. (plus I'm smart enough to understand failure for him translates to failure for me as well)

Deny ignorance, but in every possible way.

Denying ignorance depends on that you are not, in fact, actually ignorant.

Oh no, I am shocked. Shocked, I say! /s

Go and take a look in the mirror. The emperor is naked and some people want to keep their eyes shut. Hopefully they will stay in the minority next november. Then the Reps have to trust in their old scheme of gerrymandering and "votes per squaremile" to win.

The words "fair" and "unfair" are used a lot in the last years, and always in (unfair) favor for the Trumpeltier. Find a new word to put him on a pedestal.

LOL, it's like you are being beaten with the truth stick and pretending nothing is really smacking you in the face at all. Think about Newton's third law. Now think about all the negativity around Trump. Now, realize that it's YOU who put him on that pedestal.

96% Where did you get that from? Fox and OAN are big trump supporters. Secondly, the msm left are mostly corporate sellouts that support biden.

Trump sold out already anyway. He's not the swamp clearee or qanon savior. Doesn't matter if he's elected again. TPTB will still enforce their agenda.

Overt imbalance becomes obvious and exposes itself. Like the obvious censoring going on. They can't help themselves because it is their only attack vector. They are shooting themselves through imbalance. Desperation and fear.
Mind control works when it is subtle. Heavy handed wakes people up. They are their own worst enemy, and I welcome their idiocy.

Tbh I feel like if I say anything negative about trump here I’ll be virtually stoned and burnt at the stake.

Your fear is totally without basis - unless your negative comments are based on the lies spewed by the MSM.

Trump has a ton of faults, and does says lots of dumb things... make a negative comment about actual, real things that he actually does or says, and you'll likely find a lot of agreement.

This is the difference between Trump supporters, and radical leftist TDS suffering fools. We are capable of acknowledging reality.

Why would anyone rational vote for either? It's 2016 all over again with a new face.

Surely there are better people for the job. Why can't the electoral process simply elevate and select those others?

The media is creating the mindset that everyone must choose one, of only those two.

It's not like it's just a logical disconnect that you understand because of the person and their foibles.

It's an actual overwhelming consuming hatred.

That the media and the DNC is feeding.

It's horrifying to watch in realtime.

There is no middle ground here, no compromise, no debate, no sharing of ideas.

Around here there’s a phrase for that .

“Blood Feud “

Are you trying to say the attacks are equal proportionately? I don’t find that amusing I find that hilarious .

Again proportionately. There were probably a couple hundred attacks by the media against him before and after that tweet .

You can’t sit there and take all the time.

Every word is true.

As a former democrat, I always wanted to seek out compromise with the left. And although there are a few segments of the left I'd be amenable to compromising with, the block of loudmouth socialist "progressive" types are totally gone.

I want nothing other than to beat them and eliminate every single item in their agenda to show them how wrong they were to ever put our country through hell over petty policy disagreements

They made it personal. They made it nasty. We just play the game better than them

And their hypocrisy regarding the provable conduct of creepy Joe along with the credible allegations of criminal acts against him proves they are nothing more than virtue signaling phonies who only care about how something look vs. the actual thing they're complaining about or pretending to support.

PHONIES! SHAME!

We had someone his name was Bernie Sanders but the corrupt dems pushed him out, and coordinated attacks with the likes of phonies such as a Warren to ensure that raging creep Biden got the nomination.

I can't stand Bernie's policies, I think hes a blue sky idealist with mostly crappy policy positions. BUT he's consistent and he actually believes what he says!

Trump or Bernie, I could live with that. But a phony like Biden? Clinton? Those types? Not a chance
