But everyone sees a different boogeymnan when they look into the abyss.

Star for that one. Well said.

Maybe the abyss is more of a mirror ...

I guess on the bright side we aren't really any worse off in regards to global warming because no one has presented a plan that actually addresses the problem. Even is they had the government's of the world are incapable of accomplishing anything effectively.

The underlying false presumption is the actual real problem with any and all 'global warming' or 'climate change' nut-jobs crying for action.

There is nothing whatsoever that we can do to affect the global climate in any meaningful way - either negatively (causal) or positively (remedial).

What we can do is affect pollution, and we certainly should do as much as possible to address that, including requiring all corporations to be liable for any and all damage they do to the environment with regard to pollution - and hold Board Members criminally liable in extreme cases (dumping waste in the oceans or somewhere on land, regardless of what country they do it).

Mrinder there is no solution its way past the point that man can effectually control the massive die off our pollution and city's create . But even if we could go clean ( which even recycling is NOT clean nore less energy intensive )
it would not help the real problem is feeding 7.5 billion people . You cant do that without mass harvesting oceans and Nitrogen for the food plants we grow .

Both of which are THE MAIN problems one with pollution the other Fish populations mass reduction .
Fact is we just can feed 7.5 billion people without destroying the oceans and natural forest .

Humans may not go extinct but sooner or later we will have a mass die off its only a matter of time and being humans we may not wate till nature does the job we may just decide to nuk our selfs back to the stone age

there will be be no money to address the problem after all that has been lost due to the Covid pandemic.

Says who?

They just printed 2 or 3 trillion dollars out of thin air.
I'm sure they can find reasons to print more.

So whether you beleive that Global Warming is man-made or whether you beleive it is a hoax there will be be no money to address the problem after all that has been lost due to the Covid pandemic.

I use the term global warming as opposed to climate change because that term has no meaning as the climate has always changed as long as there has been a climate.. So using that term is asinine.

I guess on the bright side we aren't really any worse off in regards to global warming because no one has presented a plan that actually addresses the problem. Even is they had the government's of the world are incapable of accomplishing anything effectively.

Case in point... They chose to layoff a good portion of the workforce but they can't even mail the checks to pay people their unemployment even though they said they would... We would have to be idiots to believe they can fix the climate of the entire Earth when they can't even write a check and put it in the mail...

Is there a problem though? You just said climate has been changing since the beginning of time. There is little evidence to suggest it's changing now because of industry and not just normal climate change...
