I agree.
But logic and reason seem to be rare finds in state politics.

Unfortunately it seems some states that are not doing well before the pandemic might be using this as an excuse for the feds to pay off their debts, and continuing their lock up helps in their excuses.

I've enjoyed reading your take on this situation over the past couple pages.

I just have to ask..If it's been proven the Masks are ineffective, why are you so adamant we wear them?

Yep.
I can think of two or three.

Our state was in pretty good shape before this....we have a rainy day flood....that will not cover this "flood".
And that insane bond That Woman floated to fix the roads may come to haunt her.

S&F for that Hatebreed song, thats my favorite song by them!

To answer your OP, I think that they are implementing their agenda so slowly that people are being conditioned to it over time.

It hasn't been proven ineffective in the least. If you talk you spew particles and without a mask it can go up to 20 feet as these particles go out. With a mask it keeps all the larger ones from escaping and the extremely small ones go about 6 feet. So basically if you do not talk then you don't really spew particles, but if you do then a mask will stop most of them to allow the 6 feet social distancing to actually work. If you are 10 feet from someone and hold a conversation you are passing particles...Known fact, scientific tested...So I don't know what to say.

The reason why medical person wear masks is to stop these talking particles from going to the patient, so what we have done like forever in the medical work area, and what Asian countries have done for many decades is now ineffective?

As to wearing... I just say that if you go to a public place that is a need for others to go that could have issues if they get the virus then it would be good to wear a mask. Need is like a grocery store or other places people need to go whether they have medical issues or not.

A beach, bar, restaurant, hiking trail etc are not needs and so have at it as everyone can choose to go or not. A place like a grocery store is not really a choice...it's a need...

That is all I am saying...

I too feel this way. It boggles my mind that people STILL decide to side with a political party when it's nothing but a distraction to keep us fighting and divide us even more. And even more mind boggling is that people actually BELIEVE the politicians of their party, as if they're not a bunch of lying psychopaths who are only looking to get elected and only care about themselves, leaving broken promises once they eventually leave office. I see a lot of blind trust in this president, just like what happened with the last one and the one after that. See my pattern? It seems people get fooled all over again once a "promising" politician decides to run for office, Trumpy Trump being the most recent one. Astounishing really. I stopped putting trust in human beings that high up the society latter. You don't get to the top without f##king people over.

To be very honest, I'm mad as hell. I'm mad as hell for many reasons. First off we were all lied to by our Government. Two weeks they said maybe three. Its been How many weeks now? How many people have lost their jobs? How much money have we thrown at the problem, along with a bunch of pork? The unemployment systems across the country are completely broken leaving many hungry and scared. We have been failed by our own government.

So to further answer your question is we don't have any centralized resistance leadership to stand up and motivate and organize the people even for peaceful protests and civil disobedience. People are angry but no one to follow, organize or strategize any form of resistance to further the point.

I work in the Washington DC area in an area of law. I can not tell you how many times I am asked, mostly by people that are on some form of welfare when the next stimulus check is coming or whats going on with the Heros act. These folks dont want to go back to work, actually many of them get more back in EITC then they actually paid in. These folks are not concerned with the national debt or the health and suitability of our country or civilization, they only care about themselves in the short run.

The other thing to consider is there is a large portion of the population, I would guess at close to 20% maybe more that favor socialism. They want student loan forgiveness because they cant get jobs with their dance or liberal arts degrees. This same group of people that want the new green deal and medicare for all for free without the intellectual depth to understand the healthcare problems in the country can't be solved with a simple solution.

Think about that.

Which Goverment are you mad at? The lockdown is all state level. Trump early on said 1 May and was politically fried by everyone for that statement. He was thinking of flattening the curve and that seems to all have changed to no one should get it until...who knows..

Like a hardware store that sells repair and maintenance stuff.
It's a legit right-now need if your toilet quits working or your electricity fails.
Chain saws, tillers, seeds and garden soil and chicken scratch. I get that.

But not soda and pretzels or just-looking. Even paint is a questionable

Agree, it is a reasonable request for everyone. I was at Lowes and saw a lot of older people there and maybe 50/50 on masks.

I'm disgusted that there wasn't enough hatebreed in this thread.

On a serious side these crises shouldn't be politicized, none of these politicians weren't even born before the spanish flu (expect for Bernie Sanders who came from the cretaceous period) so some leniency must be given, however they should have had a contingency plan for situations like this, politicians issuing 'advice' but press conferences from medical experts? nowhere to be found.

You and I know this will be part of the presidential campaign, using the death of thousands. I'm calling it now-Trump will say 'our administration did a great job' where Biden will say 'Trumps' administration did a bad job' in the end the politicians will pounce, but you can't vote if you're dead.

14/15 that's one out of every fifteen will live wtf. I felt it coming but not this soon. They have some balls, but people will ultimately be our own downfall. We are penned in like cattle, The future is very bad indeed. I will not give up trying to educate people as to the Who agenda. One thing that worries me is that our digital footprints are being monitored by them.! And maybe when the # hits the martial law fan, I might get dragged away or even worse, just remember everything the Nazis did they are doing also! Best wishes south Wales UK

What worries me most is the reaction of the women I know. We must wear masks, observe social distancing, wash our hands until you bleed - you know the drill. Safety safety safety; it's the ONLY thing on their mind. Our freedoms and liberties? We can't be responsible for sharing this deadly virus, after all the elderly you know....

Turn on any form of media and pandemic is ALL they talk about.
Avoid that and we might be able to think rationally again but the propaganda is all pervasive.
Observe the power of media over the masses.

Yet trump is now saying he has the authority to force state governors to open places of worship. So which is it, who is really to blame here ?

I'm not sure of your question...

Blame for what? Trump can not force states, but he can say that places of worship are vital places that should be opened. Hell I work for the defense type agency and I'm vital...lol

On a side note... It is estimated that suicides will go up 3% and drug overdose will go up the same, child protection is not being monitored, people are not going to the hospitals when they should, 200,000 people have cancer and do not know it because testing has dropped 80%. We need people to get out with responsible social distance with some oversight, and places of worship play a vital roll in much of the well being of people, much more than my vital job...

I have no clue to what you are getting at with your statement.
