Well.. Right..

"Currency" is the name of the game, and we are throwing it into the air rather than into "things" that can ameliorate the issues associated with an economic collapse. i.e. Food, power, manufacturing, etc.

Never said a thing about preventing an economic collapse. A societal collapse, on the other hand..

Societal collapse is close at hand too.

You can't lock people into pits of despair and isolation for months on end and tell them to never get within 6 feet of another human being again without societal collapse.

The best way to stay out of debt is to not go into debt in the first place. Most people are in financial predicaments because of dumb decisions.

Like the next stimulus bill and all the other previous stimulus bills of Obama and the one in April and all the other overspending of congress using the hard earned money of the peons/surfs that they rule over with what is now an iron fist. Kind of like the middle ages where the elite political class sit in their mansion while their surfs do all the work and exist in hovels. Opps that sounds exactly like today doesn't it?

God I hope so.

But you know what the Dems will say. The Reps want you all dead and broke that is why they won't pass the bill.

Even if the US just can not keep this up. It will be the thing they will harp on the cruelty of the Reps to get them re-elected and Nancy will be 100 before she is no longer Queen of Congress.

They need to get this economy at least partially going.

Here is some info that is relevant, we did what we needed to till we got prepared, we do not need to keep everything closed anymore. medicalxpress.com...

Won't happen soon. The socialist crowd are too invested in the total destruction of the economy so they can fundamentally change the US into their vision of what it should be. They see this as an opportunity to become your overlord and you their surf, just like the system in China. They give you "free" stuff while you give them 70% or more of your labor and goods. They live in elite luxury telling you how to run your life and you give them your back to walk on.

Surely debt is just an illusion or at least it should be now we have digital money which should in theory never die out... because it's just digital money which can always be there... with just a few key strokes!

I don't understand how Country's can be in debt, i really don't... in debt to who? The banks? Who run the banks?

There shouldn't be any debts anywhere... with unlimited digital currency!

Skill sets that hold value may be changed now..it's a new reality,

I hope so.

We need to end the day when a big butt and porn (90% of today's movies/TV shows) hold value that makes millions. The useful idiots, literally that grab the attention and money of the masses.

We need to end the day that being a politician automatically makes you a multi-millionaire (nearly every Congressperson went in upper middle class and within a few terms were multi-millionaires, on a salary of upper middle class)

But the elite politicians now have something that will enslave us all, thanks to Google and technology. We are all now slaves to our phones etc. Google the evil created a program to track and know the deepest inner thoughts of every single human on the planet and sold it to China. It is there waiting while Google, Facebook and the other evil tech entities hold onto every incorrect word you wrote or spoke to be used to enslave and blackmail the population into submission to the elite class. Serfdom reborn thanks to technology. If you sign in to ATS using Google or Facebook, you had better be aware, as I am, that someday everything you write here WILL be used by them in some way to control you - with the cooperation and encouragement of whatever elite political dragon will control us through them.

When money has no value and is tied to no value, nothing, it becomes like monopoly, only good as long as people play the game, but in the real world holds no value at all.

Venezuela took this approach with it's currency and look at it now, the middle class and below starving, the free healthcare worthless because the nation can't afford medicine or tests, middle class forced into the fields as free labor to grow food, electricity rationed to hours per day, clean water or actual running water barely available. While the elite political class live like kings because they suck the populace dry with harsh military and police rule (sort of like our Governors today).

This approach of print more and more is a house of cards that will fall - it has happened over and over.

But, I forget younger people have not been taught history. This is exactly how nations fall and collapse, it has happened throughout time.

No nation is too big to fail, Rome was once more powerful and larger than the US, the British Empire also, the USSR collapsed and fell apart. I predict within your lifetime the US will fall into nation states we now call US states, if we are lucky. Worst case and most likely case now is the US will be taken over by the Chinese because they hold most of our debt and then they become the most evil and totalitarian empire ever created that controls it's populace so tightly with such tight surveillance that the peons are all slaves to the evil elite political masters.

Things are really bad right now for a lot of people and things are looking bleak across many areas of the country and although many people have died in the grand scheme of things the death rates have been relatively low compared to other things that had already existed for several years.

What is really frightening to me is the kind of precedence we set with this thing. What happens when the next virus comes along that is more deadly, because it will happen. What will be the expectation of people then in terms of free money, services, etc? Will we learn from our mistakes or take what was done now and make it even worse? If the current situation continues there are going to be pockets of the country that will explode in violence and it will get ugly.

Unless some real serious changes are made in our leadership and economic and social fundamentals from the states to feds I think it will be much worse the next time this happens. Looking at the stats from 2016 it is really sad that as a country we can't get more than 55% of the citizens voting. Until this number drastically increases it will be very hard for leadership to change because as it sits now barely 50% of the population is invested and that just isn't going to cut it. People need to stop sitting on their hands and get their voice out there.

I do hear what you're saying but there really is no need for people to be begging when dgital currency can be given to everyone who needs it... it's just greedy banksters and politicians preventing that from happening.

No one need be hungry... no one.

Those times you describe above were times when nobody thought differently to the rule of the day but today we know otherwise.

If only the greedy and greedy banksters could see like the rest of us can see.. there really is no need for starvation and desolate living conditions.

I 100% disagree with the premise that everyone can be given free money at no cost to anyone.

If that were true there would be no incentive to work, no incentive to spend years and sweat and tears becoming Doctors or any occupation that requires lots of hard work to learn. What would be the point, everyone would get free money and there would be zero incentive to work or produce, leading directly to starvation - farming is REALLY hard work; directly to a lack of medical care - that occupation is hard beyond measure to learn, a lack of any goods to purchase - who would want to work in a factory if you can get free money to stay at home and play. But if you like the idea of starvation because the motivation to farm is gone, if you like the idea of dying of preventable disease, because the motivation to become a healthcare workers is gone, if you like the idea of having nothing to buy and having to make everything you have from scratch because who the heck wants to work in a factory when they could stay home and get everything free.

Watch the old movie Idiocracy if you can find it because that is what would happen if your "utopia" really happened.

I used to argue this with my old marxist LaRaza boyfriend back in the day. He thought people would put in this enormous effort and time (ie farming/medicine/factory line production) just to have the exact same resources as everyone else. He was a sociology major and I became a PSY Univ instructor. Knowing human nature - he was and is very very wrong. People are inherently lazy, look at all the people overjoyed that between the stimulus and unemployment they make more than when working and have told employers not to hire them back and certainly not to pay them while the businesses are shut down. People would rather play than engage in hard work and toil that doesn't benefit them in the least. The "utopian" system you think would be great would result is mass starvation, no goods to purchase, and massive decay of everything due to a lack of people able or willing to make repairs. They'd rather play video games.

We are witnessing a reset and takedown of the Middle Class.

Too many successful and independent people the last 3 years.

NWO and TPTB losing too much power and control worldwide especially in the U.S. 🚬😎

I really wish you hadn't posted this!

A long time ago here I posted a thread about a similar line of thought, and I had just about gotten over my paranoia about it. That is...until now...until your post jolted me awake (again).

I will have to go back and see if I can find my original post, but the theme basically was this:

The elites and PTB have raided and stolen everything they can from the poor. The poor have nothing left to raid and are fully dependent and subservient to their masters. The true 'elites' have insulated themselves, and distanced themselves, sufficiently to prevent being raided themselves. This leaves the middle class, a vast untapped source of untold riches which have historically been off limits and out of reach to the raiders...until now. The reason? The middle class was invested in the what made the elites "elite" in the first place. They were invested through their investment instruments, so the elites couldn't steal their money because they would injure themselves in the process. The dilemma for the elites was how to steal this money without hurting themselves.

And it was a vexing dilemma indeed.

Then the "perfect storm" happened. First, the US elected an 'outsider' as president who was universally loathed by the liberal left. Now, the super-elites had someone to do their dirty work for them, and as a result of their rabid zeal they would blindly do this work without realizing who they were really working for. All that remained was a cause big enough to mobilize their efforts. …

Enter a perceived Worldwide pandemic!

Make no mistake, the super-elites don’t focus their greedy intentions on only the US. There are way more middle class bank accounts to raid beyond the US. The US and Europe just happen to be particularly juicy low hanging fruit.

So now we get to see Part 2, the coup de gras…lock the world down in fear. Crush their businesses, their economy and…suck…them…dry. Force them to liquidate all their investments, their savings accounts, their real estate and even their homes just to survive and put food on the table. The liberal left in the US would blindly play along, thinking they would at last get their Holy Grail…Orange Man. They had the media under their control, and they could use the media to spin the web worldwide without even knowing it. The super-elites wouldn’t even have to lift a finger, because the liberal left was doing all their heavy lifting for them.

Again, the US is not the only country involved in this crisis. But let’s take a moment and examine something about the US. The state governors who are enforcing lockdowns in the US stand to gain virtually nothing from the super-elites. No, their prize is Trump, but they’re so blinded by their rabid anger they can’t see the forest but for the trees. While the US middle class may not be the sole focus of the super-elites, the US does have something other countries don’t…a means to resist. And, if that resistance can be crushed it will be the bellwether for the rest of the world as many other countries to not possess this ability. It would be the proverbial “green light”. And all those quadrillions of dollars of investments across the globe which were liquidated, what of them? That money would go right into the pockets of the super-elites…just…as…planned.

Bye bye, middle class!

force the ignorant masses to live the way they tell the peons/surfs they must live

Relax. Deep breath. Trump will get re-elected and he'll do what's needed in order to get us out of this mess we find ourselves in.

That statement above this one is the problem.

The absurd idea that one man or person can fix all of this, or ever could. The fact that a lot of people are putting their very lives in the hands of politicians instead of taking the reins themselves to avert personal disaster.

The incredible amount of apathy in this country is astounding. We simply cannot win with such willful serfdom.

And for the millionth time, as long as the US Constitution remains in force, these stay at home orders are civil rights violations under color of law.

"Orders" are for businesses, government agencies and their employees. NOT PRIVATE INDIVIDUALS.

You can't strip people's rights away without due process or Martial Law.

You are in your house because you CONSENT to being there under the advisement of your state government and your local and state health officers.

The health officers abused the authority they were given by the governors by directing law enforcement to ticket and arrest people for "violating" policy. Policies ARE NOT LAWS, nor are directives, proclamations or decrees.

THESE HEALTH OFFICERS DO NOT HAVE THE AUTHORITY TO QUARANTINE ENTIRE STATES.

PERIOD.

It's one thing to consent to tyranny, it's another thing to think that same tyranny will save you in the end.

That's insane.

You realize that this defeatist, alarmist attitude would only help that process, right?

Might as well be on the CCP payroll
But its so much bigger than China...

Actually, I find the attitude distinctly unAmerican and Im not the type to say such things lightly. Have you ever examined that such thought processes are instilled by the same forces you are worried about? Alphabet Inc runs deep, to be sure, but there are others. Worldstarcountry does a great job pointing them all out.. ETA: Ah! Even posted in this thread.

There are still plenty of options.

Exposure and awareness of the scheme: Agenda 21
Decentralized tools and technology
Attitude shifts
Small things like using duckduckgo and bitchute

The "fight" isnt what people think it is, but in many ways thats a good thing. Its only inevitable if we treat it as such, and keep examining things in the narrative that has been fed to us.

Well.. In Star Trek, they created the tools for self-sufficiency. It wasnt just "give errybody money!"

Thats a huge distinction, in my opinion. Currency is a representative marker of work & goods that have Real World Value. By trying to address every issue with it directly.. We lose sight of what it represents. Some might even say thats intentional.

However, I do think we are at the stage where a lot of those "scifi" tools are pretty much here. We cant exactly give everyone a replicator, but we can absolutely gain a level of self-sufficiency and autonomy that most dont realize is even possible.

Try to address it all through currency though, and everything goes in the other direction; dependence and essentially.. modern slavery.

I suppose it's possible that the Governors of mostly 'blue' states that are following Trump's and the Public Health experts' directive to not reopen until they see a 14-day decline in new cases could be intentionally tanking their economies because they are part of a huge conspiracy to destroy the country. But I seriously doubt that. They're all taking a personal financial hit but that aside.

More likely they realize that IF they open the economies too quickly and without adequate testing and contact-tracing available, the virus WILL surge and cause businesses to shut-down because customers and employees won't feel safe. This is happening in the meat packing plants that are being pressured to stay open. This problem isn't going away just cause we want it to. People are choosing to believe what they WANT to believe. If we reopen and it goes sideways the end result will be worse then staying closed for a few more weeks. Look at the statistics for the states that have reopened early and compare them to the states that are remaining closed. The data speaks for itself. Ask Sweden or South Korea.

Here is one of my favorites. A VERY old coffee grinder. Still works good as new even though it is 140 years old. It's kinda fund just to spin it, so smooth!!!
