How many big government/big brother agendas are substantially furthered by COVID-19?

I hope that this post does not come across as low effort trolling, as I think a thread like this is a good idea and I haven't quite seen it done exactly this way before.

PREFACE - Let's not attempt to prove conspiracy in terms of where the virus came from or anything like that. Let's focus purely on identifying as many big brother agendas that are substantially furthered (boosted/helped/whatever) by just this ONE THING. The virus. It just occurs to me that this one thing is basically a wet dream for an authoritarian state.

Here is an example of what I'm looking for in this thread - COVID-19 is a perfect excuse for full time tracking and spying on every single person living on this planet. Now of course you can argue that this was already happening to some degree but this provides a flawless permission slip for it and basically will be impossible to challenge as things drag on.

I would prefer we don't argue. Obviously, I want this thing to be over as much as anyone does. I don't know or care if the virus is manmade at this point. I do not want it. I do not encourage anyone to do anything foolish or give the authorities a hard time. That actually makes things worse for people who care about civil liberties.

I'm putting this in General Conspiracies because I assume that we can all agree there are people who can/will take full advantage of this crisis (manufactured or not). Again, it's best in this thread to avoid stuff that hasn't actually been mentioned by the MSM. Things like "contact tracing", "Immunity cards" and tracking of people through their smartphones have actually been seriously suggested by TPTB so this isn't made up fear mongering.

So that's it. Name every agenda you can think of that is advanced by the virus.

The main agenda of this event could be to make more people dependent on the government, at many levels.

Global healthcare for all. It gives a larger pool of money to siphon from and allows them the ability to control us through each other.

More global insitutions overall.

They will eventually announce China's mistakes, but use it as a tool to show how the nationalism that is spreading throughout the world puts us all at harm.

A lot of countries set very dangerous precendents that will inevitably be used again, rights will be lost forever each time.

They will charge us to install infrared and face detection camera's for all government cctv camera's, they will be governments databased rather than on site storage.

Forced vaccines. Limiting rights based on being vaccinated or not.

Biometric tracking on your phones all government databased.

Well the plan may be forming right nowThere's talk of another Stimulus coming where everyone 16 and older would get a $2000 monthly check. *Except for high earners like something over 100K*, but the rest would feed off of the government for the remainder of the year or six months, at which time it would be determined if it needed extending.... ?! Even with the Constitution of America there are those who claim it is outdated and they have a better idea about a society that functions according to their Utopian ideas.

It is what it is but everyone in America should be thankful that a bunch of old White dudes long ago were so far sighted when they put pen to paper and gave the people the power and not the government. That does not mean there are those both in and out of government who will do everything they can to whittle away any rights us peons have.

Digital currency is a concern as how easy it would be to wipe out your life saving with nothing but a stroke on a computer key.

Facial recognition like China has so if you are caught Jay Walking your social score gets points deducted. If enough points are taken away no travel, no credit, and maybe no job.

Thinking about it I would say look at any dictatorship; for that is the road map to many say we need..

Let criminals out of jails/prisons and replace them with people bucking the infringements on their constitutional rights then the remainder will be afraid of being jailed and will toe the line.

Collect as much DNA as possible by "testing" and those who protest the destruction of the constitution can be framed for crimes and imprisoned.

Completely take over all food supply and thus control the populace. No microchipped vaccine? No soup for you!

Make the majority dependent on government hand outs. People on assistance tend to vote for whoever promises them MORE assistance (Bring on the Socialist candidates!).

Attempted destruction of organized religion by disallowing in-person services. Most who go extremely long periods without attending services in person or switch to services on internet/television less likely to return on a regular basis.

Destruction of cash transactions and switch to digital only. Businesses deny cash payments as possibly tainted.

Just a few possibilities off the top of my head.
