What you saw was only a small part of an entire situation.

I agree with the posters that say the "jogger" shouldn't have been shot. As someone else pointed out, emotions were high. As fallible creatures, us humans can tend to act before we think and emotion comes before logic. Having said that i believe the two men should be charged with murder.

Let a jury make the final determination. I'm not a fan of vigilante justice. All too often, the wrong folks get that "justice".

I get it. That is your stance. I do however hope you never serve jury duty and you won't calling it murder before a charge of murder and I am grateful for that fact.

Those guys are surely going to have a hard time proving their innocence.

What’s the window they have to argue they didn’t cause this guy’s death by stopping him? If the jogger rounded the front of the truck and pulled a gun out they might have something to lean on, but from the video it looks like they were stopped, waiting for him to catch up, weren’t willing to let the guy just pass by and an altercation broke out. From what I saw, the jogger had both his hands on the gun trying to get it out of the guy’s hands and then boom.

I’m not sure how they’ll argue that they felt their lives were in danger. Doesn’t look like any punches were thrown, just the struggle for the gun. If that guy was unarmed, I’d have to say at least the shooter belongs in jail.

I’m definitely interested in what comes out of all of this.

Ol' Ahmoud had been caught on surveillance video breaking in to people's cars for a while and the neighborhood was done with it.

This is _exactly_ what happens when law enforcement doesn't put a stop to Repeat Offenders. The shotgunner was a 30 year veteran of Law Enforcement.
