Love the premise
I think though.. That a lot of issues run so deeply that its difficult to address.
I am of the mind that most of them are quite longstanding, and the current situation just precipitated failure.
Add in conspiracies (gasp!) about narrative control, and things get wonky. Fast.
I like the idea of a return to self-sufficiency and autonomy, but leveraged with technology and the connectivity it can provide. The best of both worlds, in a sense. I think that pretty much sums it up for me, and the methods and means for it to happen are probably as numerous as the population itself.

Actually I do have one more thing to add.... the Hollywood actors/actresses "raising money for the WHO" is also truly despicable when LA has its own major homeless problem and the WHO screwed the entire global economy by neglecting to call it a pandemic when it was already in dozens of countries and fit the definition of a pandemic.
I hope you and yours are also safe and healthy during these times. We still have an income and hopefully that remains intact. However my company furloughed more than 40 employees that I personally supervised and onboarded, and 8 employees who were direct reports of mine were also furloughed. Tough times to say the least, my heart breaks for everyone struggling right now, I just wish I could do more to help

There will definitely be a push for tracking for the long term. Bye bye privacy.
Virus as the excuse.
Whether people take it or not is another matter.
I can also see them push for outlawing cash.
Once again people will still be using it anyway.
Of course, the more self sufficient we all are, the better equipped we are to offer more to our community, and the less help we need from others. I think that's an important aspect also.
Better yet, the more people can take care of themselves, and the less need to take care of others, then the more time and energy we can devote to new and better things for all.
