Topic started on 13-3-2005 @ 10:54 AM by Emulous

I've just been wondering what those mean. And Yeah, I just have to fill up space because my question is too short. So I wonder if this is long enough yet?

I'm sure there is an internet slang dictionary on the web somewhere for anyone not familiar with the abbreviations.

I'll save you the googling though...

IMO In my opinion -- or, if you prefer -- Illiterate Monkey Origami

(I assume you mean IMHO) IMHO In my honest opinion -- of, if you prefer -- Illegitimately Masticated Habanero Overture

IM Instant Message -- or, if you prefer -- Illicit Manure

HO ?????? I have no idea, but I'd guess you were just trying to be clever with that IM a HO bit.

ass isn't an expletive! It's a four legged mammal known for its strength, endurance, and stupidity. LOL

C'mon, let's not criminalize words describing animals. We already criminalize naturally occuring plants.

heh

clever.

one of my favorites is RTFM. Read The Foolish (hah) Manual. It's got a good many uses. Also, a variant, STFW, Search The Foolish (haha) Web.

people also use ROFL for rolling on the floor laughing, not ROTFL, iirc (if i recall correctly. and yes that was an excuse to use that)
