China sends medical team to North Korea even as Beijing-backed TV boss claims Kim Jong Un is dead, says has 'very solid source'

Even as China has sent in a medical team to North Korea to advise the leader, a Beijing-backed satellite TV channel's vice director, who is also a niece of a Chinese foreign minister, has claimed that Kim Jong Un is dead.

Vice director of HKSTV Hong Kong Satellite Television told her 15 million followers on Weibo that her Kim Jong Un death claim was backed by a "very solid source."

Given the brevity of the White House meeting today. I do believe he is dead.

An official familiar with U.S. intelligence said that Kim was known to have health problems but they had no reason to conclude he was seriously ill or unable eventually to reappear in public.

doubt he was assasinated, more likely kidney or liver damage. Dude drank like a fish. That said, if he is gone, whom is replacing him. I think it may be his sister. That said, their may be a military coup too. The best hope is the sister, and she opens the place up, to eventual reunification with SK. however, there is alot of military that won't be too happy about that. That said, she doesn't have all that blood on her hands.
