AN invention to help detect viral and or bacterial infection.

Make a gum that reacts to viruses like covid19.
The tested would chew the gum and if infected the gum and or saliva would change colors.

This type of test can be done daily and would not add massive medical pollution from plastic based or non biodegradable test kits that would be needed daily to test for daily infection.

Feel free to post any other ideas that cross the mind.

Good luck EA*RTH

I tried to avoid a bracelet type test device that monitors fever as to not assist in any religious related marking-chipping.

It doesn't have to be that type of gum.

I see no compelling benefit from mass testing people. I don't understand why Congress would want to spend $25 billion on it.

PPE for all so people can work safely until this comes around again next fall? That makes sense to me. Mass testing? I see no benefit and looming civil unrest. And I would like to know how a mass testing system will be put to use.

It could be used daily for getting people back to work safely.

Simply take a couple chews and spit and you know if you have been infected within the last 12 hours or if your are not infected at all.

A simplistic low cost test that can quickly test masses daily is required.

Biodegradable if possible to limit waste build up from test kits.
