Antibody tests will tell if you had it.

What ev...
It doesn't change 37,000 dead since February when the first "tested" case was confirmed.
Doesn't change bodies stacking up. Doesn't change mass graves.
Glossing over it doesn't change anything.

They still died from Covid 19 even if they had underlying conditions.
Those conditions certainly contributed to their weakened systems but it was Covid that took them.

They are not testing for antibodies in the general public. Hell they are scarcely testing for the virus for Christ's sake.
Just enough with the false information already.

There is something about Russia Today reporting studies which are not reliable. The author of the Danish report, which Russia Today reported on "as fact", and which the OP provides a link to said that the findings should be taken with a bag of salt.

This article from the propaganda arm of Russia is once again referencing a study as fact, but which has in big red writing...

Caution: Preprints are preliminary reports of work that have not been certified by peer review. They should not be relied on to guide clinical practice or health-related behavior and should not be reported in news media as established information.

The report

Russia Today's agenda is just part of a campaign to muddy the waters, and is doing this by reporting on studies as fact when they should not be used in that way.

Okay let's just play with that date then.
Nineteen weeks and 37,000 dead.
37,000÷ 19= 1,947 dead per week. When did the flu ever kill like that?
In one country.
The reasons for the closures are real. To save lives.
The virus is real and all those dead are real too.
It is ten times deadlier than the flu.

But the death toll didn't start until mid February and that has not been that long.

Exactly. This "study" is rubbish.
I flies in the face of the reality right outside my door.

It may be unsubstantiated because no one was looking for Covid19 a few months ago. How is there going to be evidence when there wasn’t any testing for Covid then?

NO, if Covid-19 had been rampant before about 8 weeks ago in the US there would have been a spike in hospitalisations and deaths reported for other reasons... unless you think no one died from it whilst it was spreading rampantly and unseen?

Here is the CDC data for flu hospitalisations for the 19-20 flu season compared to previous years final totals.
There is no increase...it's about average.

Again - are you suggesting that Covid-19 was spreading rapidly from October 2019 and having no effect? All of a sudden in February it started getting more deadly???? Get a grip.

The 'analysis' in the OP is nonsense - easily gobbled up by people who want to believe in their initial mistake of comparing the impact of Covid-19 to the flu.

Not sure what your rant was all about.
It seems to be a combination of 'orange man bad' and something else going on in your head.

It's possible the number of infected are much higher and they were asymptomatic. Large scale testing to determine who may have been infected could begin soon, and if it does, it will tell us more. Right now there are just a lot of unknowns. It's very possible it is more infectious, and less deadly than the seasonal flu.

Well...let's see. Typical flu season is mid Nov to Feb call it 15 weeks. Flu deaths....60,000 so that's what 4000 per week.

Working in an ICU, yeah people are sick and seem to take longer to recover but they do recover. Both of our deaths had underlying conditions, but so do most of our ICU patients.

Do over 2,000 people a day die from the flu?
The CDC numbers for flu deaths is 27-65k a year.
The US is already at 37k dead from Covid-19 in just 4 weeks.

Where does that leave your linked analysis?

You should do a little research on what’s being counted as a “Covid death”. It’s not exactly the cleanest methodology - globally - and is certainly biased towards inflating the numbers.

The virus isn’t the thing you want to turn it into no matter how badly you want to believe.

Only thing that matters now is reopening the economy. The cure was, from the beginning, worse than the disease.

Um... didn't you get the memo? No. No one knows what to do to stop the spread. The only thing they can do is slow the spread.

In other words, if you don't get it now, you will get it later.

And whether you get it or not, no one is getting out of here alive.

...did you get dropped on your head as a kid ?

Oooh. That really put me in my place! Except it didn't.

no just watching news about liberating states and tweets from the incumbent
it make anyone with a brain see that the USA is being led into disaster

I saw an interview with one of the disease outbreak consultants for the film Contagion
she said the film was correct apart from the fact that they never envisaged a US government so inept they would kill their population for ratings

Sure. All of a sudden in February this disease changed from asymptomatic to deadly.
China, italy, Spain, suddenly it went from nothing to thousands dead starting in February. But you believe it was here for months and months but just hidden in the healthy?
So logical.

You should stop passing out false information and everyone needs to stop trivializing and glossing over this situation.
