A man waiting for a stimulus cheque from the government was stunned to find more than $8 million in his bank account.

Charles Calvin, from Indiana, checked his bank balance over the weekend to find that $8.2 million had been apparently been deposited into his account.

I would be tempted to keep my mouth shut about the 8 million if it were me. They would probably eventually find out.

Withdraw it and run.

It’s not that hard to sneak into Mexico.

He could have earned tens of thousands of dollars in Interest before the IRS takes back the 8 million.

According to the article linked...it was corrected by the time he called the bank on Monday. But heh...at least he has the ATM receipt that shows he was a multi-millionaire for a day.

Now, if you checked your bank account and there was eight million dollars in it and you got a heart attack, could you sue the government? They are the ones who stimulated the heart attack.

I'd be at least hitting that 200 in cash withdrawal

A long time ago I had an Ameritrade account put 10 dollars I had left in penny stock gold mine in Canada. Checked it on Monday morning and it had ballooned $125,000. I was highly suspicious and called Ameritrade after some checking the company was under fraud investigation by the SEC.

Given the present state of the US and the tomfoolery the government is pulling, I agree 100% with this. I'd cash that sumbitch out, buy a boat, and not be seen again.

I'd create a Cayman Islands Account, transfer it all, and then disa-f'n-pear.

I would deposit it into an account, take my 1700, let the rest build interest, and then repay the original amount when they came asking for it. That's basically what the government does when you
