I agree, but we rally round our leaders at times of national crisis, and give them lots of slack. Besides, parliament is closed. But what confidence can we have in a prime minister so incapable of identifying the enemy he shakes hands with it?

As much as I loathe the guy I wish him and his fiance a speedy recovery. True story - used to work for a blind law lecturer who was trrying to set the world record for lands end to john o'groats on tandem and solo around a velodrome. Boris was the only person who responded, offered to promote it and donated to charity in the attempts out of hundreds of public figures contacted so he's a nice guy deep down.

The complications may well be due to him smoking cigars until recently as smoking is meant to increase risk of needing hospitalisation by fourteen times (not being preachy, I've smoked myself)

He is a doofus and should have known a lot better than to catch this virus. He had the data and choose not to act. If anyone deserves it in the UK. He does. Hes reckless attitude may cost him his life and has cost many peeps in the UK their lifes too as they followed his advice.

All that being said. Lets hope he gets better.

Wonder if he will give the NHS the 350 milliion a week he promised now and PPE kit?
