Apparently you can, but not in person, you will have to order online. This is just part of the general trend of totalitarian measures designed to curb our freedoms and autonomy. Are you familiar with Fabian socialism? The Fabian society devised a way to introduce socialist measures in an incremental way so as to get the masses more used to having various limitations on their freedom. They just do it bit by bit till people don’t even remember what it was to have genuine freedom.

Why aren't they doing road work right now while there is no one on the roads to close down. This is a perfect time to quickly fix the crappy Michigan roads.

Just watch them lift the ban right around July when it's dry out.

You very well may bet right. Im hoping its due to the virus specifically and that the restrictions are temporary. I guess we will see but I sure hope you are wrong.

Disagreements aside, I hope you are well. Stay safe.

What is with people choosing to selectively interpret parts of these bans? I understand they are basically saying they don’t want people hanging out shopping- yet I question who gets to decide what is necessary in this new world? And by “understand they don’t want people hanging out”, I’m not saying I agree with that train of thought either. And I will say that with three children under 4, clothes are necessary, and they grow though them quite quickly.

How can people NOT see that this whole series of bans is ridiculous over reach by our government?

It appears as if bans are pretty varied state to state and there is minimal cohesion as to what is "essential" or not.

I think you'll get 100 different rationales so its hard to say right now while it is playing out.

It feels like an overreach but I can't say that there is a nefarious purpose behind it. Yet.

Thank you, I appreciate that. Apparently Naples, Fla has a severe at- home policy now which if you violate you can be held without bail. The gov of Florida is Republican, but the directive is a local ordinance. Seems no one is beyond the knee jerk fear response to controlling things. No one wants to be made responsible for covid-19.

We have been warned a couple of weeks. I didn't mean they were an unusual issue I just wanted to see how others reacted to my real issue.

When they fire up seconds apart it's rather scary especially when they run 3 minutes. Hope all the Illinois people spit a brick or two.

The big parking lot at the plant is now a campground with over a hundred people confined..

Fair enough- but it doesn’t have to be a nefarious conspiracy to be wrong, you know? And I can’t tell you how to feel, but it seems to me that once the government shuts down businesses en masse, also known as personal property, then we have crossed a line. And once that line is crossed, it becomes easier to cross it again and again, for whatever trumped up reason government can come up with.

Unsure why this is surprising? 90% of ATS was cheering on these lockdown procedures just a week or 2 ago while looking down on anyone questioning this government power grab. Hope you feel really safe from Coronavirus.

I feel vindicated and sad all at the same time.
